Private Island Living at Its Best

The property is located on Langeskjær, a private island accessed via a 100-meter bridge crossing a small islet. Once across, you’ve arrived at your private paradise — with no neighbors, just the sounds of the sea, birds, and nature.

A spacious deck wraps around most of the cabin, providing sun or shelter throughout the day. The outdoor living room features windows on three sides and glass doors facing the water — ideal for relaxing, dining, or enjoying the view in any weather.
The large pier (approx. 35 m²) offers the perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming (about 2 meters deep), or mooring the included boat.

Fantastic property - great location, wonderful nautical feel to the family house. Right on the harbor and the house had a rowboat and paddleboards our family really enjoyed! Within walking distance to a grocery store. Fully outfitted indoors and out: BBQ, outdoor chairs/tables, boat house. TV, books to read (english og norsk).We had a wonderful, relaxing time here - one of the nicest places we have stayed as a family. We would highly recommend! Great communication with the owner and the GPS took us right to the location.

opholdet i Sandefjord , i påsken var helt fantatisk , el en utsøkt og koselig plass , m masser a natur og hyttekos , samt fredelig sted, omholdet blev nøje serviseret a eierne og oplevelsen er til 6 ac 6 mulige karakter :-) vi kommer helt sikkert a anbefale og muligt komme igjen ved senere anledning . mvh Peter , line, m venner

We are a family from Norway that loves to travel but our favorite place is "Langeskjaer" which translate to the "small, long island."

Why they chose this property

The island has a rich history as a smugglers lair and a WWWII resistance base. Originally bought by our great grandfather for a fishing base, it has been upgraded through the years and is now livable year round.

What makes this property unique

Being on an island with the convenience of not having to get in the boat every time you want to run to the store for some food/wine or go out for dinner is priceless! The fact that Sandefjord is so easy to get to from anywhere in the world means we have access and can use it on a regular basis. I have never heard anyone regret spending time on the island!
