Beautiful four bedroom barn conversion sleeping up to nine
surrounded by green fields overlooking the Towy Valley and Dryslwyn castle close to the towns of Llandeilo and Carmarthen. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Approached via a leafy lane and just 20 minutes from the end of the M4. The area is known as The Garden of Wales with Llanstephan beach just 20 minutes away. Centrally placed for access to gardens beaches mountains all within a short drive.

Enjoy peace and comfort of the highest quality and cleanliness where you will enjoy a slower pace of life from the Black Mountains to the golden beaches. This area has inspired artists and photographers with its abundance of wild life history and landscapes. An ideal place to relax and when it's dark watch the stars.

The property comprises of a large living room/dining area which is 35 foot long with a cosy wood burner for those cooler evenings with patio doors leading to the patio and garden and stunning panoramic views of the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside from your armchair. There is a flat screen TV and free Wifi. The sitting room is approached via 6 steps from the kitchen. The dining table has seating for 9 .

The kitchen with original exposed beams is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc and all the pots and pans crockery and cutlery you will require during your stay.

There are four comfortable bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king size bed with it’s own shower room down a small flight of stairs which also contains a WC and wash basin, a double bed in the second bedroom, three single beds in the third bedroom and a further single bed in the fourth room where an extra bed can be put should it be needed. There is also the main bathroom with bath (shower taps) WC and wash basin There is a mezzanine gallery (with airing cupboard) overlooking the sitting room and dining area. Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

There is a large enclosed garden with garden furniture set mainly to lawn at the front of the property with panoramic views of the tranquil valley below and outstanding countryside. Seated here you can enjoy your morning coffee and soak up the views and beautiful sounds of the birds and wildlife; hedgehogs, herons, rabbits and more. The red kites are a spectacular sight to see, and listen out for the woodpeckers. Our bird feeders are filled on a regular basis to encourage our regular visitors to come and greet you.

This detached holiday home is the perfect place for larger families and for groups of friends to have a fantastic holiday together.

Please note, no smoking in the premises but you can smoke in the garden.

There is no Hot Tub but a large mowed area ideal for ball games or a game of football. A mowed path through a wild flower meadow to walk through and hear the grasses in the wind.

The market towns of Llandeilo and Carmarthen are just a short drive away with independent shops selling local produce and gifts, antique shops, lovely cafes and restaurants. The National Trust owned Newton House and Dinefwr castle is here.

The property is situated between the Brecon Beacons in one direction and the glorious beaches of South West Wales on the other. The area is known as the Garden of Wales having the National Botanic garden and Aberglasney House and Gardens just a short drive away. Scanda Vale is 1/2 hours drive away.

A relaxing break in the countryside to put your feet up in front of the log fire or watch the stars. Plenty of historic sights to explore and lovely walks on mountains or beaches. A great place to relax and unwind.

A travel cot and booster seat is available on request.

We are open all year round for full weeks or short breaks.

We have a no smoking policy.

One well behaved dog is allowed at the property but not be in bedrooms or on furniture. Do not leave the dog at the property when you are out, take the dog with you.

In addition to the enclosed garden children are welcome to play in the regularly mowed field.
Other things to note
Please note- there are 6 steps to the shower room attached to the master bedroom and also from the kitchen to the sitting/dining room.

One basket of logs is provided, extra logs can be bought at cost.

A dog is allowed but not in bedrooms or on furniture. Do not leave the dog at the property when you are out.

Maximum occupancy – you must not allow more people to stay in the property than is stated at time of booking. All guests (adults, children and infants) are included in the maximum occupancy.

The property must be kept clean and tidy and left as you found it.
