The entirety of the stay was amazing. Easy check in and check out, very clean cabin, amazing views, and just down the road from the beautiful Polebridge mercantile.

So glad you enjoyed your stay ! Hope to have you back for another adventure one day!
We love the Fourth of July weekend in Polebridge and these cabins are the perfect place to stay. Just about a mile from Polebridge Mercantile and these cabins are fully furnished, making it easy to bring your essentials and not have any other cares. We had friends staying in the 2nd cabin along with us making it a perfect holiday weekend.
This cabin was absolutely PERFECT! The views were nip notch, the cabin was clean and the best! Perfect location! Can’t wait to come back and this will be our go to cabin from here on out! 10 stars!!!
I have to admit, I was a little worried about the cabin. But when we arrived and went inside, it was very clean and perfect! We enjoyed our visit to Glacier National Park. We visited from Utah. I pre-made all of our dinners and brought my own groceries, so it can nice to concentrate on the vacation and not worry about the store. Communication was very good too. Easy check in. We saw deer almost every evening.
Polebridge, is a neat little town. Off the grid, you can but Wi-Fi at the store for 4.50. Needs to be used by the store.Cabin was so peaceful, so nice to have no TV, no phone.NO NOISE! We really enjoyed it. Cabin is very clean, well stock with plates, bowls, pans etc. I did not find a measure cup- only item missing. Beds were very comfortable. Perfect little cabin. Nice views.
We were a little surprised to find that the cabin was not on its own, but with a number of dwellings in close proximity, including Cabin #1 right next to Cabin 2. Fortunately for us, no one was in the other cabin, and we had a lovely quiet time enjoying the view from the deck
The cabin is just as described. Very clean and the location from the front porch and windows- words don't do it justice. We lucked out with little to no smoke from local fires effecting our stay. Nice location to the Polebridge GNP entrance, not a bad drive to Going to the Sun Road. Great hikes close to the cabin in the park and outside of the park.
Absolutely perfect escape to nature, no cell signal or tech distractions is such a beautiful setting was real treat! Thank you!
The cabin was clean and had most of what we needed. The location to get into Glacier National Park was a real win, although still a drive. The road construction was rough-but we were forewarned. The Nothern Lights and the Merc were great! (Only comments about the cabin was it was quite hot; and the person who slept in top bunk felt the gas fumes from gas lights were quite strong -even with all windows open.) The automatic hot water was greatly appreciated after our days hiking.

Brenda,
There should not be any gas fumes if the lantern was lit? Can you email me with more info on this?
I hope you had fun in spite of this. Did you get to see any wildlife? Would love to see any photos you took!

I have 3 teenagers, all of them connected at the hip to their IPhones, but they loved being "off the grid" at the cabin. Turns out Polebridge is the best spot in the lower 48 to stargaze, and the first night was a magical display, complete with meteor showers.
The interior and furnishings of the cabin show how much the owner cares; tons of huckleberries outside as well- definitely a great experience!

Thanks for your affirmation of our purpose to introduce young adults, children, and even full grown adults to the incredible wonders of God's creation by being OFF the grid to leave the electronics home and relationship with each other in such a meaningful way. We strive to make the off grid experience one that feels like being on the grid as far as the cabins design and comforts afforded our guest. Also most importantly is the care and cleanliness that our dear property managers take in preparing the cabin for your stay. We appreciate your sharing of what has become lifelong precious memories of your stay at Langton Lodge.
Blessings,
Ed Langton

Perfect for a fall visit to Glacier
The cabin is well equipped and comfortable, very clean and maintained. Easy access to Bowman Lake is a big plus. This was our second stay and we will come again.
One suggestion is better signage to find the right access roads coming north from the Polebridge Mercantile. We are not familiar enough with the area -and way too mature - to remember exactly where to turn. Luckily memory returned after a couple of wrong turns. Not a big deal but would be helpful.

Thank you for staying with us again! We always appreciate suggestions from our guests and will work to add additional signage. We look forward to your visits again in the future!
A wonderful out of the way place to stay. The road getting out there was beyond terrible. Would have liked to have known to drive part of it through the park. A much better way to go! Did so on the way out.
Also did not realize there was no power. I read reviews mentioning unplugged but thought it referred to no cell or WiFi service.
Price per night was 145.00 but actually ends up being 210.00 a night.
Owner communicated excellent via email but never saw them. Small cabin was beautiful, clean and well appointed. Loved the wool blankets!
This cabin was very clean and rustic. The property managers were very responsive to any needs we had before arriving and during our stay. We gave the "accuracy of listing" 3 out of 5 stars because we would've liked to have had more information about the condition of the road to get there and the fact that there was not electricity available at all hours when we booked it. The road to get to this cabin is incredibly rocky and should really be taken in a vehicle with 4 wheel drive, not a minivan:). The listing says off the grid, which we assumed meant we still had power to run fans, etc., but not cell service. However, the power source is propane, and there is a generator for 1 hour per day. These things would just be good to know before booking. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this is your spot!
The Good - cabin was rustic and beautiful. Everything you needed was in the cabin. The oil lamps made you think you were back in time.
The Bad - several info pieces in the cabin stated if you do this or don’t do that you will be charged $$ dollars. While I understand there is a small population of guests who would abuse staying privileges I am one and estimate 95% of guests care for the property like they would there own so I felt it was punitive to have these messages in the cabin.
The ugly - we were responsible for hauling any trash to a dump. A website was provided to city services to find the dump but having no cell service we didn’t find the dump and ended up hauling our trash about 200 miles to find a place to dump it. I feel that after paying a cleaning and other services fee that I shouldn’t have to haul my trash away and if you didn’t you would be charged $$’s.
So if you are ok with the later two points I would highly recommend this cabin
Loved the setting and peaceful surrounding. Polebridge Merc and Saloon are extremely welcoming and evening music was delightful! Crisp air was invigorating!! Will be back!
We loved being off the beaten path, far from the hustle and bustle of GNP with no wi-fi, street or even people noise. The cabin is very clean and comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a nice stay...including warm water! We enjoyed the views of the lovely mountains, watching deer roam out our winder and the great trout fishing in walking distance. My son caught at least 30 trout on a single evening! We will definitely come back again!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
place is close to Polebridge and fun to stay at. Nice spot to enjoy.
Snug and quiet stay in a very clean cabin. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch on warm evenings.
I removed a star for “accuracy of listing” at the behest of my husband, who felt the listing’s photo of the view should have more accurately captured that there are large piles of chopped down trees and soil in front and to the side of the cabin. Still beautiful, though.
Really loved the propane lights! Only used the generator to shower. Total darkness, total peace and quiet. Closest you can get to bowman and kintla lake without camping there.
The cabin was the perfect escape from the busyness of life. Bowman lake is close for paddle boarding, swimming or enjoying the beauty of Glacier. Polebridge is perfect for food and drinks. The cabin is secluded, clean, and peaceful. Stargazing is the best and the morning sunrise is beautiful. We hope to stay again sometime.
We rented both cabin 1&2 and the hosts were terrific with the description and detail on check in. No cell service there so you need to follow instructions and they were very clear. Can’t think of anything the cabin was lacking. Great distance to Polebridge and to the river for cooling off. The decor was adorable and the shower at the end of a hot dusty day was just perfect. Would have liked to be able to bbq but not allowed. Mattress was alittle hard for us but only negative I can say. Would bring a foam top next time. Thank you so much!!
