the cottage is beatiful we had a lovely stay with our 2 dogs yorkie's who love walks and the beach is 5mins from the cottage , there is a local shop across the road , local pub and a very nice restaurant The White Horse just by the cottage . we had a lovely meal staff freindly just what you want as we are a couple over 70 we found the stairs a little steep , however the hosts gave us all the information we needed prior to our stay with a bonus of a homade lemon drizzle cake on arrival (which I would like the recipe) and a very nice bottle of wine . Thankyou

We have just spent a week at this lovely cottage, which is in an ideal location, close to the beach, local shops, pubs and bus stops. The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable and we loved the home made lemon cake that was waiting for us when we arrived. The steps to the bedrooms are thin and steep, but we were aware of this from reading other reviews. The cottage was easy to find and we used the parking in the side street and one night had to use the local pay and display parking near the beach. The White Horse pub has re-opened, which now has live music at the weekend and has two options for food (1 - indoor, where bookings have to been made, 2 - lighter menu for sitting at the outdoor tables). If you are sitting outside you can hear the music from the pub. We have really enjoyed our stay at Cromer Cottage in East Runton.

Nice cottage, well equipped and very clean, comfortable beds, downstairs toilet and shower, with small outside area.Lemon drizzle cake and bottle of wine were very well received Guests need to be aware that the staircase is quite steep with very narrow steps (care needs to be taken when coming down the stairs especially if you need to use the downstairs toilet during the night 😔)The cottage is situated through a small gate on the high street, and then down a walkway, and as parking is limited to only 20 minutes in a few spaces opposite the gate entrance on the high street, it can make unloading and loading your car very difficult especially in bad weather, (should you actually be fortunate enough to find a space available). The owner advised that there is also parking available on a road off the high street but we found this area fully occupied throughout our stay. The owner also advised that there is NCP parking available on the beach road, next left out of the cottage, but does anyone really want to be paying these additional charges by the hour/ per day on top of the cost of your holiday..Nice cottage, shame about the parking facilities.
