I had no problems with the host. The location was great for walking to Pompeii ruins, restaurants, etc. It was at the end of a dead end street so it was quiet at night. You have a private entrance. I would have liked to have some type of outdoor area, but was aware that the unit didn't have any when I rented. My only issue was someone upstairs walked around constantly with hard shoes on tile floors so there was ALOT of tick-click-tick-clack all the time. But the couch, mattresses and pillows were old and stained. The headboard was faux leather and getting worn down The bathroom was small. The shower stall was tiny (think only a little larger than coffin size), and had black mold stains. The shower head holder falling off its holder. I'm just 5'4" but when sitting on the toilet my knees nearly touched the wrap around shower stall. The kitchen was small but serviceable.AC was good. Internet was good. TVs were useable, but Pompeii has no English speaking channels, only Italian speaking. I was unable mirror from my phone or tablet .I think I have been fair & honest. This is not a "luxury " apartment by any means. But the cost per night, I think, reflects that.
