About this property

Little House, Cute, Cozy Artist Cottage

Welcome to Little House, a charming and private cottage located at 809 5th Street, just a short walk from the quaint downtown area. This cozy one bedroom cottage features all the comforts of home. It has been lovingly maintained by the owners, who are local artists. The house includes a mix of antiques and new furniture, as well as many of the owners unique pieces of art. French doors in the master bedroom lead to a deck overlooking the private, shady back yard. There's room for a boat trailer along side of the cottage.
Start your day relaxing on the back deck, sipping coffee, or listing to the birds, or sit on the front porch under the canopy of the ancient oak, dripping with Spanish moss. It's important to remember that after numerous hurricanes, our grocery market has chosen not to reopen. We have an Island Jiffey with limited items, a bakery, and a Dollar General on the way into town that has basics.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

My husband and I built little house in 1986 as a rental home. We always loved the tiny house concept and thought it would a good idea to give us some added income. The cottage has a special place in our hearts and we love how comfortable and quaint it feels. We have been in property management for 25 years before we retired in 2005, so we have had a lot of experience making guests relaxed and happy, we think you will find that comfort in little house as well.

Why they chose this property

This property has more character and personality than most rentals you will find here. We are both artists and the cottage has many original works of art along with eclectic pieces of sculpture. It has a lot of charm and attention to detail, that makes this cottage very special.

What makes this property unique

This cottage is on the first floor and convenient to your car for carrying in groceries and luggage. If you are looking for peace and tranquility of small town life and an escape from the daily grind, Little House is just the place for you.
