A lovely stay, more than we expected. Loved that the kayaks & gear that was included! Very secluded, quiet, and so peaceful. Marjorie was a super host and was quick to help in every situation!

This is an upstairs room with closet, bathroom and 2 beds. The owners live downstairs. A kitchenette is shared with guests in other rooms. It’s very private, quiet and well kept. Each morning coffee was waiting for us. Margie is sweet. The cabin is right on the lake. Entrance to it is a bit questionable at first because they own antique and old trucks and it doesn’t seem like you are entering your rental property but you just drive past them and you see the pretty lake and rental. It is about 10 minutes from the adorable little town of Saranac, about half hour from Lake Placid and another half hour to White Face Mtn. We had a relaxing stay. It became unusually hot two nights and the room got warm but there are 2 fans and it was ok. (For those who do not know, not many places have ac.)

Wonderful Experience

My son and I stayed here in August 2019 and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is gorgeous, the hosts welcoming, the room spotless and breakfast was beautifully presented and excellent. I wish we could've stayed longer, I would go back in a heartbeat.
