Terrazza Paradiso was perfect. So close to restaurants and shops but away from the main tourist streets. Our host Rosalba was great - helpful and available without being intrusive. Apartment was clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds. Sofas not so comfortable! Spent 2 weeks there with different family members, terrace great for sitting and socialising.

13 of us (adults and kids) had a great comfortable stay at this villa. It is beautiful and very spacious, and the panoramic views are stunning. We enjoyed the pool and countless different seating areas and hammocks to read, chat and relax in. The interior of the house is very tasteful. The house manager Signora Mirela was helpful and cooked some delicious meals for us. We also enjoyed exploring the area and loved visiting beautiful Orvieto only 20 min drive away. It was a lovely memorable holiday!

You feel like you are living in the past with modern amenities. Our host was incredibly helpful with parking and other advice.

We're a family of 4. We have teenagers. We're British....but don't click away just yet. And we've travelled a bit over this planet. I've always said we'd never got back anywhere. Never. The world is too big. There's always a different corner. The familiar business of 'we must come back' written by a guest in cheap biro in a dusty dog eared visitors' book never rang true. I'll tell you what though; we'd love to come back to Il 2. Seriously. It is that good. Come here. See the sun set over these hills behind Orvieto and tell your grand kids. Taste the wine from the estate and boast about it at the pub. Kick back and relax by the pool and just let time run slowly. The house and the grounds allow stresses to drain away. Read this in November. It's dark at 5:00pm. It's cold. It's Sunday. You're watching Antiques Roadshow. Now think of a place where sun, sky and rolling hills merge. We stayed as a party of 10 adults and two toddlers in mid-June. From the first day to the last everything was wonderful. The owners are really friendly and keen to help wherever they can. The villa is beautiful just as you see in the pictures. We had the room at the top of the house with the hot tub and amazing views over the Umbrian countryside. The pools were just right and great that they were shielded from direct sun. We used the tropical shower and steam room in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need even some Italian coffee. The terrace for eating on at the back was lovely at night with candles and fairy lights adding to the atmosphere. The garden with all the different seating areas was beautifully arranged with lots of different seating areas for a large group to spread out. The owners told us that the nearby town of Guardea would sell everything we could need. This was so true. The staff in the supermarket were extremely helpful even grating cheese and helping us to choose ingredients. We got a few scratches on our hire car so tried the hardware store in Guardea, despite a lack of Italian on our part the lady was so helpful and sold us just the right polish to remove the scratches. She even rang her son for advice. The two things that were my holiday highlights were; Seeing fireflies for the first time in my life and the beautiful donkeys. The donkeys were so affectionate and gentle. We would feed them morning and evening. Just call out and they come trotting across the field towards you. My son has left a much more in-depth review on Tripadvisor. We all loved every moment of the holiday.
