We stayed at this charming old farmhouse dating back to the late 1700s, set in a beautiful country setting. While the exterior features traditional stonework, the interior is modern, clean, and comfortable.One thing to be aware of is that the downstairs kitchen area cannot be accessed from the upstairs interior. You have to go outside to reach it. We quickly got used to this arrangement and really enjoyed exploring the various farm buildings and stone walls that divide the surrounding agricultural fields.The property is incredibly quiet and private, with a beautiful hillside setting overlooking a valley of vineyards and olive trees between the farmhouse and the town of Imotski. The three bedrooms can accommodate a good number of guests, and each bathroom has excellent showers and toilets. There is also plenty of parking.The location is ideal for exploring the region, with easy access to the A1 toll highway, which may be one of the most scenic roads I have ever driven. It provides convenient access to Dubrovnik, Split, and Zadar. Bosnia and Herzegovina is also nearby, making it easy to visit Mostar and the beautiful waterfalls in the region.Sandra was wonderful and responsive to all our questions. She welcomed us with a lovely plate of local cheeses and meats, and later brought us some delicious grape crêpes, which were a real treat. Imotski has everything you need, including large grocery stores, restaurants, and duty-free shopping. Small grocery stores nearby.
