Awesome view and veranda! Andrea was wonderful with the check in and explaining everything about the home. Very quiet, up in the mountain over looking Lucca. Very comfortable bed. Very peaceful stay.

We plan to return!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it was just as beautiful as the last time. We love spending a few days secluded from the hustle and bustle of day to day life, and we love the option of cooking for ourselves and eating on the beautiful balcony.

Would definitely recommend!

The apartment was well equipped and clean, with lovely touches - it looks exactly like the photos! Despite a rainy week in Italy, we had a great time, including trips to nearby Lucca and the local vineyard.

The perfect place to stay in Lucca

A wonderful, stylish appartment with a very, very special terrace. We spent hours there and it's truly as beautiful as it looks. We highly recommend the wine tasting which is done by a member of the family (incase Franci who was brilliant). The appartment is very clean and you'll have everything you need.

It really was the perfect vacation!

We had an amazing week in this beautiful house. It is so beautiful that it is hard to leave it to discover the city’s and area around. The terrace is fantastic! You have a great view over Tuscany and can enjoy the sun and the shade all day! Andrea was a Perfect Host and we did a wine tasting at their farm. And good food is all around!

One week Toscane

We had a very pleasant stay in Tofori, although the weather was not so good as we expected we enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice . Surrounded by olivetrees and wineyards.with a fantastic look from the terras.

Dear Roelie, It sounds like you had a lovely time at Frantoio Famrhose, despite the weather not quite meeting your expectations. The house surrounded by olive trees and vineyards offers a breathtaking view from the terrace, even with less-than-ideal weather, it's wonderful to hear that you were able to enjoy your stay and make the most of the beautiful surroundings. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we look forward to welcoming you back in anonter season to experience and enjoy the venue with lovely weather! A presto!

Absolutely wonderful!

We stayed in the Il Frantoio farmhouse apartment for nearly three weeks and absolutely loved the place. Caterina and Andrea were the perfect hosts, so pleasant and always ready to assist. The view from the house is beautiful, and we spent many afternoons and nights sitting outside on the patio just taking it in. The drive into town is not that long (10-15 minutes) and you very quickly get into the habit of the winding hillside roads. And a visit to Fattoria Maionchi is an absolute must-do - great food, even better wine, and Francesco gives the most amazing tours. The easiest top-star rating we can give, a visit we will never forget. Since mobile reception is not that great up in the hills and wifi is sketchy, we'd recommend Starlink to fix the connection issues.

Dear Sigurgeir, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback following your three-week stay with us. It is a true pleasure to hear that you absolutely loved Il Frantoio and that the beautiful, panoramic views from the private patio provided such a memorable backdrop for your afternoons and evenings. Caterina and Andrea take immense pride in looking after guests, and knowing their attentive hospitality made you feel so well cared for means the world to us. The scenic drive through our rolling hills is indeed part of the authentic Tuscan charm, and we are delighted you enjoyed exploring the local gems nearby like Fattoria Maionchi—Francesco's amazing tours, along with the great food and wine, truly capture the essence of our beautiful region. We truly appreciate your thoughtful suggestion regarding the internet connectivity, as we are constantly looking for ways to refine our countryside experience while preserving its peaceful, tech-free serenity. It was an absolute privilege hosting you for such a special stay, and we would be completely delighted to welcome you back to your Tuscan home in the future. A presto.

Thanks for a wonderful stay

Sadly our trip was cut short due to covid regulations changing in the uk, so our week long break became just two days, but they were two very wonderful days! The villa is absolutely gorgeous with a terrace looking out across the most gorgeous views. Our hosts organised for a local wine tasting for us which was incredible and a memory we will always treasure. We hope to return next year when travel will hopefully be less disrupted.

We loved it!!

Cosy, old house. Lovely terrace. We ate most of the time outside. Fireworks in Lucca could we enjoy from the house. We loved cooking in the kitchen after a day out. Car is necessary. We didn’t met Sidrak, but Andrea and mrs Catherine were very polite and nice and reachable if necessary. A beautiful place
