We have enjoyed our stay a lot. The hosts are very welcoming and the setting was great for a relaxing time in the mountains. View from the parking area is amazing.

Super nice landlords, charming, well appointed accommodations, great hiking, beautiful scenery made this a favorite location. The nearby village was lovely and the people were so helpful to English speakers.

Quiet natural retreat with a view

We loved the birdsong in the morning, being able to do laundry, the town of Yzeron, and the comfortable, cozy gîte.

The gîte was a quiet retreat in nature which was a perfect place to rest after traveling.

We enjoyed the sound of the birds singing in the morning, the beautiful views, the opportunity to do laundry, and the quirky charm of the gîte. The hosts were helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful hillside retreat

We were traveling from Colorado with two moms and our 18 year-old daughters. We had a wonderful week in Paris and the girls wanted to see some of the French countryside and enjoy some peace and quiet, but Provence seemed too far away. We took a two hour high-speed train to Lyon and rented the car to get to this lovely yellow cottage. It was perfect for the four of us and our host, Jeremy was so great to sit and share a beer with us and tell us about the area. We loved the trail right next to the house that ran along an old Roman aqueduct. The house was clean as could be and the beds were comfortable and the whole setting was charming and quiet. We love the little town of Yzeron and there was a wonderful art shop there where we all bought some local art and jewelry. We would like to go back and stay longer and explore more of the trail system in that area. We highly recommend this home for your vacation!

Un séjour au top, encore plus réussi que lors de notre précédent, du temps de l'ancien propriétaire.

La situation, l'accueil, la gentillesse du propriétaire, la réactivité, le cadre cocooning, l'environnement sauvage... enfin tout quoi !

Comme toujours nous sommes ravis de passer quelques jours dans le joli gîte de Julie et Jeremy le grand air nous fait du bien et on adore ce petit coin charmant tenu par des hôtes tout aussi charmants !

Wir waren etwas enttäuscht,dass es sich um ein großes Haus mit mehreren WE handelte. Leider hatten wir einen Teil,der keinen Ausblick auf das Tal hat. In den Betten sind harte Futon Matratzen, auf denen wir nicht gut liegen konnten.Das Bad ist winzig, das Duschwasser läuft weiter als gewünscht.Die Haustüre ist nicht ohne weiteres abschließbar. Leider hatten wir auch noch Stromausfall von abends bis min nächsten Mittag und haben daher schon nach 1 Nacht das Haus verlassen. Es war einfach nicht unser Ding. Der Vermieter war hilfsbereit aber doch machtlos.

Es war alles so wie beschrieben, ein idyllisches Steinhaus in den Bergen, top renoviert mit viel Holz und erhaltenen Steinwänden und Holzbalken. Ein toller Ausblick. Betten bequem, Küche gut ausgestattet, die Vermieter sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Es gibt dort einige wild lebende Katzen, weshalb unser Hund etwas gestresst war. Es war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Drum herum ein paar Kühe und schöne Landschaft. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Comme d’habitude Julie et Jeremie nous ont chaleureusement accueilli dans leur gîte pour notre wk prolongé dans les monts du lyonnais. Aux petits soins et sur tous les fronts ! Nous recommandons vivement ce petit havre de paix.

Super séjour à Yzeron avec un très bon accueil de nos hôtes. Le lieu est calme, avec une vue incroyable, et on a pu profité de vacances reposantes en famille. Tout le monde était content. Merci !

Un très agréable séjour

Nous avons séjourné 6 jours dans cet agréable gîte tout en pierre et bois, douillettement décoré et équipé. Mention spéciale pour le buffet bien fourni en vaisselle et verrerie, et l’accueil sympathique. Les environs sont campagnards et riches en sentiers petits lacs et rivières. Très bon pain, boucherie traditionnelle, restaurants agréables à Yzeron. Nous recommandons le tout !!
