Nice home in perfect central location with comfortable beds, good hot showers, and a stocked kitchen. There was only a tea towel for our 5-night stay, so we bought paper towels and left the remainder for the next guests. The comprehensive house manual is something you don’t always get with a rental, but theirs was full of useful info about the home and Canterbury. One thing not pointed out in the description is a set of steep and narrow stairs heading to the bedrooms on the second floor. It was a challenge getting suitcases up. Finally, our only disappointment was that the serene garden area pictured was a mess: tree debris and moss everywhere, as well as dead plants and lots of overgrown weeds.

Hi Keith,
Thank you for your detailed feedback and for staying with us. We're glad you found the location, beds, showers, and kitchen comfortable, and that the house manual was helpful. We appreciate you letting us know about the tea towel and your thoughtful gesture for future guests.
We’re sorry the stairs and garden didn’t meet your expectations — we take your comments seriously and will address the garden maintenance promptly. Thanks again for helping us improve, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.
