Surrounded by construction!

Large living area and bedrooms, description says “Roof terrace” in reality it is a small balcony. Poorly equipped, not even a bottle opener or clothes horse for washing.Local Area has lots restaurants and cafes etc but we were surrounded by construction site.

Home away from home

We booked Gosia's place as our home base in England for a one-month stay--and we were very satisfied with the accommodations. We were traveling with our two college-age kids, and the layout of the apartment, the location in Ashton Gate, and the neighborhood were perfect for us. Easily walkable to restaurants, groceries, bakeries and pubs, as well as an easy walk to the center of Bristol and beyond. From the penthouse deck, you can clearly hear music from concerts at Ashton Gate (but inside the apartment the noise is negligible). There is a produce stand, a baker, a grocery, a butcher and a liquor store all located within 8 blocks of the apartment. There is a wide variety of restaurants nearby, and the most charming and delicious Indian restaurant is on the corner. On the opposite corner is a wonderful local pub, with several other pubs and local breweries within a few blocks. The neighbors are friendly and always willing to give seasoned advice on where to visit while in Bristol. While they are still building condos all around the apartment, the construction noise was generally limited-- starting only after 9 a.m., and ending quite early in the afternoon. Gosia was very responsive to any requests, and resolved the few issues we had quickly. This place is truly a gem.
