James was the perfect host and his property was the perfect place for our six nights in the Heart of Portugal. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. The upstairs Vila area was immaculate, fresh and very well-appointed. We were able to cook six evening meals in the nicely stocked kitchen, dining each evening on the balcony overlooking the tiny village of Palhota.
