Casa Cheiña is a haven of tranquility. Set in a wooded area and accessible only by a paved road, with parking for three vehicles.
Located in Camelle, 200 m from its beach and 2 km from Arou Beach (Blue Flag), right on the Lighthouse Route, where you can enjoy the incomparable scenery of the Costa da Morte.
Ideal for children and pets, featuring a fantastic barbecue area, outdoor dining space, and a traditional granary (hórreo).
The house accommodates 8–9 people. It has two stories and sits on an 800-square-meter lot.
This stone house boasts 150 years of history. Restored over the years, it has become a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. One of the house’s most striking features is its side facade made of scallop shells—unique in the area.
Also worth noting is the kitchen, which features a large, traditional Galician fireplace (lareira).
Camelle is located on one of the most beautiful and untamed stretches of coastline, featuring unique beaches.
It is a fishing village home to the Man Museum, dedicated to a German hermit who lived in Camelle for 40 years; you can see the structures he built along the coast and his original home.
You can enjoy cuisine rich in fresh-caught fish and seafood.
But above all, this is an area with sustainable, peaceful tourism—uncrowded—where the temperatures are very pleasant. You can sleep without air conditioning in the summer and snuggle up next to the heater in the fall and winter, all while taking in the view of the rough sea with its spectacular swells and the green, wild landscapes.
