No 23 is spacious and decorated to a very high standard. It’s a bit of a tardis, as from the outside you don’t expect to be so big inside. The kitchen is well equipped so if you want to cook it has everything you need to make a meal, The lounge is large and cosy and has a comfortable sofa and chairs, a lovely wood burner (we didn’t need to use it) and a large tv. It’s very nicely decorated, with pictures, ornaments and cushions, so feels homely and was great to come back to after our days out exploring. The bathroom has a separate bath and large walk in shower. The shower is hot and powerful. There are two well decorated bedrooms with comfy double beds, we all slept very well, the mattresses and bedding are good quality. There is a wardrobe in the front bedroom and both rooms have sets of drawer, so plenty of space to store your clothes.A caffetierre would be a good addition to the kitchen, although there is a coffee machine which uses pods. The parking is tricky and for one car only. To get to the back of the cottage, where the parking space is, you have to navigate a narrow entry between two other cottages. Our daughter and her boyfriend had to park on the street and unfortunately scraped his bumper whilst doing this after they arrived. They were able to find on street without any problems. Wooler is a lovely town with shops, cafes and pubs. We had a a meal in No 1 and at the Italian restaurant, Milan which was very nice. Coop just around the corner from the cottage which was handy for provisions.Wooler is a nice town and base for exploring beautiful Northumbria.Thank you No 23 we had a fabulous week and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage,
