A cosy, renovated 45-square-meter apartment for 4 people, located on the mezzanine level of a building and featuring a balcony. The property is located in a central area, less than a 5-minute walk from the train station, in a area with plenty of amenities and strategically located for reaching the main attractions of the vibrant city centre—such as Piazza Duomo, Castello Ursino, and the Bellini Theatre, as well as the market held on Wednesdays or Mondays—either on foot or by public transport. The apartment consists of a living area with a modular kitchen, a loft-style bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower, sink, bidet, and toilet. . The interior is laid out as follows:- LIVING AREA with kitchen (gas stove, kettle, microwave, and dishes), dining table, and single sofa bed;- LOFT BEDROOM with a double bed and a single bed;- ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited Wi-Fi, air conditioning with heat pump (1 split unit), washing machine, ironing kit, and hair dryer. The apartment is child-friendly. The tourist tax is payable in cash upon check-in: €2.00 per person per night; the final cleaning fee is €35.00. The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests. We are very flexible and are happy to arrange early check-ins or late check-outs when there are no other guests arriving or departing on the same day. All requests will be confirmed a couple of days before your arrival. All guests must present valid identification at check-in, as required by Italian law. For late check-ins between 9:00 PM and midnight, you’ll find a secure drop box outside containing the keys to enter the apartment at no additional charge. In addition, a short walk will take you to the main points of interest in the historic centre, such as Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral of Sant’Agata, the historic area market, the Benedictine Monastery, Ursino Castle, the Greco-Roman Theatre, the Vincenzo Bellini Opera House, and the garden of the same name. The apartment is also well-served by public transport and the metro. As you stroll through the city’s streets, you’ll come across numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops where you can enjoy the region’s renowned cuisine and local specialities, famous throughout Italy and around the world. From Catania Fontanarossa Airport, you can reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service to the Central Station, which is about a 5-minute walk from the property.- From Catania Central Station, you can easily reach the apartment on foot in about 5 minutes.- For those travelling by car: paid street parking (blue lines) is available around the property (NOT guaranteed and CANNOT be reserved). Alternatively, you can park for a fee (with some free time slots) at the Il Pino car park, located at Via Maddem 4, a 3-minute walk from the property, which is open 24 hours a day.
