Possibly the cleanest house we've ever stayed in, along with thoughtful additions like chocolates and Welsh cakes. The whole house looked newly decorated, but it wasn't - just really well cared for. Parking was off-road and spacious, and the hidden garden was peaceful and not at all overlooked. If we ever need to spend a few days in Rhayader again, this will be our destination.

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay.

I would give this way more than 5 stars if i could. A gorgeous, very luxurious cottage close to everything.The spec of this place is very high, like staying in a more expensive hotel. Beautiful kitchen that is so well equipped you could easily cook a full roast dinner. Plenty of good eat out options within minutes walking though.The location is superb. We drove over the hills to the Hafod Estate one day or you can access the Elan Valley Trail within a short walk of the cottage.Elaine was very friendly over texts and made sure we hd everything we needed. The goodies left for us on arrival were most welcome!I really couldnt recommend this place more. One of our best ever holiday rental experiences. Big thank you to the owner. We had a lovely break even though it was February in Wales!
