A family Easter break

Wonderful house for a large family and friends ranging in age from 7 months to 70 years old. Very well equipped, comfortable and clean as well as a super location. Fal Cottages were helpful and efficient with booking and all arrangements. Thank you

Tregongon House

Overall the house was pleasantly decorated and had lots of old charm. However, it could do with a really deep clean so that there is a fresh slate for changeover cleans. There were cobwebs above each doorway and in all of the windows (including the bedrooms). The insides of the draws and cupboards in the kitchen were very grubby and there were personal effects in the wardrobes upstairs (perhaps these could be moved to a locked cupboard when the property is rented out). The carpets need to be replaced as they are very marked and this unfortunately gives an overall feel of uncleanliness. The property also smelt damp, which I appreciate comes with the territory, as it is an old property, but a few air fresheners here and there would give a freshness to the property. Finally, the key for the lean to conservatory was nowhere to be found and we needed to open doors to let some air in, as it was very hot during our stay. If it's not possible for that door to be opened, it would be helpful for that to be stated somewhere.
