The property
A stunning 19th-century farmhouse, originally used as an olive mill, recently renovated and transformed into an elegant country/seaside residence, furnished in an equestrian theme. Located on the Gallelli farm estate next to the famous Castello di Pietra Nera, a prized example of Neo-Gothic architecture.
Halfway between the sea and the renowned town of Badolato (voted the second most beautiful village in Italy for the year 2024).
Surrounded by greenery with a beautiful garden and a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside—largely covered in olive groves—against the backdrop of the blue sea (just 1 km away).
Plenty of space and amenities: 6 double bedrooms (with the option to add 2 extra beds upon request, for a total of 14 beds), 6 bathrooms, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, and a huge 200-square-meter living-dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the surrounding views; a large garden with ample private parking.
The garden features a barbecue and a professional wood-fired oven.
The spacious living room, with plenty of tables for dining, includes a relaxation area with a fireplace, TV, and sofas, as well as a game corner with a pool table, foosball, and ping-pong.
Built using traditional Calabrian masonry—a mix of stone and brick, all left exposed—and recently renovated, this farmhouse is a wonderful piece of Calabrian history.
The stunning sea with its crystal-clear waters and kilometres upon kilometres of beach make this the ideal spot for a pleasant beach holiday in Calabria, a region boasting immense natural beauty and historical treasures of great interest, all waiting to be discovered.
You can use it as a base for your excursions throughout the region or simply relax and, with short trips of 15 to 30 minutes at most, enjoy all the amenities the surrounding area has to offer (we’re less than 20 minutes from the famous town of Soverato, which offers plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars for those who just want to have fun).

ADDITIONAL COSTS
The rental cost does not include utility charges, which must be paid separately based on actual consumption as determined by metre readings upon check-in and check-out, using the following rates:

- Electricity consumption: €0.70 per kWh consumed (calculated based on metre readings at check-in and check-out)
- Water consumption: €3.50 per cubic metre consumed (calculated based on metre readings at check-in and check-out)
- Gas: €25 flat fee per cylinder


ADDITIONAL COSTS
- Final cleaning fee: €90 (€80 surcharge for pets).
- €17 for linen change (sheets and 3 towels per bed) only upon guest request


BOOKING RULES
In August, the minimum booking period is 14 days. It is not possible to rent only the two central weeks of August; these can only be rented in combination with the first or last week of the month
