We used the house for a ladies retreat. We had 24 ladies and there was plenty of space. Clean, Spacious, the best bed I have ever slept on including mine at home. The host are quick to respond. We lost internet connection the first night and the host sent someone out immediately and addressed the issue. Wonderful quiet location as well.

The property is spectacular. Check-in was very smooth. Wi-Fi worked well and everywhere. The kitchen facilities were nice for our chef, although we did provide some feedback regarding the dishwashers not drying well and other minor issues. We had a great time in the indoor and outdoor spaces. Beach and pool were terrific for our extended family. Rooms and bathrooms are very nice. Elevator very helpful for arrival and departure and for some people daily. All inquiries with property manager were responded to very quickly and appropriately.

This place is beyond extremely nice. Would not recommend staying here as anything else rented in the future will seem sub par. Oceanfront. House decor beautifuly designed. Tons of sitting and hanging out areas for large families. Must stay.

Wonder Family Vacation!

Wonder Family Vacation! Once Upon a Tide is an amazing house!! The views, the bathrooms in each suite, the pool, the deck, the beach, the Kitchen area—it was all fabulous. There were only 17 of us so we each had a lot of space to enjoy. Family Mini Golf championship, pontoon boat down the Intracoastal, and bike rentals were some of the off-site things we enjoyed. Our family has rented many large houses before and this was by far the best!!

Everything was perfect for our retreat from the location to the unbelievable amenities of this incredible house. The one or two inquiries I had were answered quickly and professionally. Perfect house in the perfect location. Pool is great! The host took amazing care of us. No issues at alm with the house, we even added pool heat same day. Caution for kids and seniors, the steps are steep throughout the property. Still the best house at Ocean Isle but watch small kids and older adults!

An international family reunion!

What a lovely spot to spend Easter weekend! There were 19 of us, including 8 kids and 11 adults. It was a family event with our local family and 4 cousins from Norway. Everyone had plenty of room. In fact, we had bedrooms to spare! The house is well-appointed and the pool and beach can't be beat. We hope to stay at this amazing home again some day!

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful time for our family reunion with 27 family members from age 1 to 95. The kitchen was fantastic. Plenty of seating for our entire group to eat together every night. The cookware was plentiful. We been doing a reunion every other year for almost 30 years. This was our best house so far. There were a few issues (as there will always be with a beach rental) that were promptly fixed by the management team.

An absolute dream!

Finding a house to accomodate a family of 20 is very difficult, but finding one that is perfect for the kids, adults AND someone in a wheelchair is almost impossible - until Once Upon a Tide! Honestly, this house deserves better than 5 stars. Liz and Laura are the absolute best! From our first communication to the last (even during our stay) they were prompt, friendly and accommodating! The house absolutely beautiful, with spectacular views, comfortable beds, spacious rooms and bathrooms, a well stocked kitchen, loads of fun activities ... I just cannot say enough good about it. You won't be disappointed! We will def return!

Better than we imagined!

We set our expectations high, but your home exceeded the bars and all our dreams! Being from Arizona, we relied on the the photos which are accurate, but don't compare to the amazing space and views this house provides. From the moment you enter the house, your breathe is taken away by the amazing view and beautiful decor. Your staff, Liz, Joanna and Kyle went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Liz was responsive through the whole process and provided home information and answered all our questions before arriving. Joanna and Kyle were on the spot to take care of the property during our stay. This home is an event planners dream location for beach weddings and was designed with events in mind. Many of our event vendors said it was the best vacation event house on Ocean Isle Beach. The 12 private bedrooms with their own bathrooms and large kitchen and social areas accommodated our large group nicely. We stayed towards the end of October and it was like having our own private beach. Weather was perfect. Being off season many shops and restaurants in the area had limited hours, which was to be expected. Highly recommend this property for family reunions, holidays, weddings and events. So glad we chose your home. One Happy Family

Amazing house perfect for multiple family groups!

This house was perfect for our multi family getaway. The bedrooms are spread out so no one felt like they were on top of each other. The extra game room upstairs was fun for kids and adults. The pool and outdoor space with tiki bar was beautiful. Property management was helpful and responded quickly. I would recommend this house and hope to return with my group.

Magnificent house!

The house is more amazing than the pictures. Everything was spotless and beautiful! Lauren helped our group of friends plan an amazing golf trip. From transportation to private chef and groceries, she helped with it all and was extremely accommodating. We started asking her for help months before the trip and it was seamless! We cannot wait to book our next trip here!

Nothing short of amazing!

Once Upon A Tide is a dream vacation home! The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. We booked the house for a weekend getaway but we plan to come back for a longer stay. It is perfect for a group of families because of the open floorplan and numerous bedroom options. We have young children so the room with a King bed and bunks was perfect! The game room was so much fun for kids and adults. Beyond the house itself, the service we received from booking to check-out was great! The staff responded to our questions prior to arrival and checked in with us the morning after we got there to make sure we had everything we needed and that the house met our expectations. I would recommend a stay at Once Upon A Tide to anyone looking for a high-end vacation home experience at Ocean Isle Beach!

Wonderful week

The property is well kept, clean, and convenient. The part we enjoyed most was how easy it was to get to and from the beach with kids in tow. The walkway to the beach has a shower to rinse off all the sand prior to getting back to the house. The pool is great as well. Overall a great week. We would definitely recommend!

Wow! Spectacular property. Very clean. Owner and staff was amazing and helpful. Phenomenal open floor plan w a killer kitchen. My kitchen at home was my favorite until I came to Once Upon A Tide. I want Laura (the owner) to design my next house and definitely furnish it. We all spent countless hours in the pool, tiki bar, and upstairs game room. This is the best house on the NC/SC coast at least that I have seen and we have stayed in some of the best. Thank you for renting to us, Laura. We will be back!!
