An incredible property with so much history. Still in the renovation process and beds are limited to the turrets. The host were very good and very accommodating. Kitchen was well stocked. The turret's are finished to a high standard a pleasure to visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Caverswall Castle. John our host was brilliant and communicating amazingly with me in the lead up to our stay, and Martin our contact during the stay met us with a friendly smile and open arms. We did a fancy dress murder mystery night and I couldn't recommend the castle enough for such a thing, despite the resident ghosts!! 100% would stay here again.

We hired Caverswall Castle for a 2 day birthday celebration, 20 friends and family, it was perfect. A fantastic place to stay in a beautiful setting. The turret accommodation was lovely with great en-suite bathrooms. The main castle common rooms/ areas were ideal for getting together, and excellent kitchen facilities. We were very well looked after by the lovely staff. Everyone agreed it was an amazing place and we had a fantastic time.

Stayed as a group for my wife’s 30th. John and his team were very generous with their hospitality, and we loved the castle itself. All bedrooms were huge and had an en suite. Would definitely recommend and most likely return in the future.

Celebrating a major milestone birthday at Caverswall Castle was an experience I don't think any of us will ever forget. Our family and close friends gathered together at this incredible 200-year-old castle, and for our stay, we had this extraordinary place all to ourselves. It is hard to put into words just how magical it felt to have everyone I love together in such a remarkable setting. The four castle turrets have been beautifully converted into individual accommodations, each with a small kitchenette, a king bed and bathroom upstairs, and an additional bed and seating area on the lower level. They worked perfectly for my children, their spouses, and my grandchildren, giving everyone their own space while still allowing us all to be together. The main castle also has bedrooms, although we didn't use them during our stay as some work was being completed. The owner John made sure we where all comforable and very happy! We were, however, able to tour the castle, which made us even more excited to see what this wonderful property will become. There were so many special moments — the children feeding the ducks in the moat, walking through the beautiful countryside, strolling to the nearby pub, and simply enjoying the grounds and being together. Caverswall Castle gave us memories that I know our family will treasure for many years to come.

We loved our stayed in this historic property. Some of the rooms were cleaner than others and some areas looked a little run down, for us, this added to the atmosphere but other guests may expect more manicured gardens etc. We were impressed with the quantities of tea, coffee, shower gel etc that were available for our use. The host was very friendly and helpful. Once we had settled in she kept in the background so we really felt that we had the place to ourselves.

Fabulous place to stay. Completely unique accommodation and it really did feel as though we were staying in a fairytale castle. Very responsive and helpful host. There were 7 of us staying for a birthday celebration and it is just perfect for relaxing and enjoying each others company. The period bedrooms and the contrasting modern en-suite bathrooms are absolutely stunning. We have already booked again for next year
