This beautiful holiday home on Lake Atitlán is the perfect place to relax and enjoy Guatemala’s natural beauty. With its cosy style, decor, and breathtaking views of the lake and volcanoes, this home is the ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the heart of nature.<br><br> The villa is ideal for families, couples, and small groups of friends.<br><br>It is situated on a hillside with panoramic views of the lake, 10 metres from the shore and nestled within a cove, offering the chance to kayak, swim in the lake, and experience the beauty of nature. We offer a two-story house where you’ll need to walk down a path with seventy steps to reach the lakefront. This property is definitely not suitable for people with disabilities.<br><br>Upon entering the house, you’ll find yourself in a spacious living room with high ceilings and wood finishes. It features large windows that let in plenty of natural light and offer a beautiful view of the lake and nearby volcanoes. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all located on the first level. <br><br>The living room is furnished with a very comfortable L-shaped sofa and a 55-inch TV (includes Netflix, Starplus, Disney+, and Paramount). In one corner of the living room, there is a wood-burning fireplace that creates a warm and cosy atmosphere on cool evenings.<br><br>The dining room features a wooden table that seats 8, perfect for enjoying delicious home-cooked meals with family and friends.<br><br>The house has a kitchen that’s spacious enough and fully equipped to prepare whatever you’d like. It is equipped with a 6-burner gas stove with a built-in oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a refrigerator, a freezer, a blender, and all the basic kitchen accessories. <br><br>There is also a foosball table on the ground floor for the kids to play on.<br><br>From the living room, you can step out onto a terrace that runs along the front of the house. The terrace is furnished with an outdoor table and offers stunning views of the lake. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or relax with a cold drink in the afternoon while taking in the view.<br><br>The ground floor of the house features two bedrooms and a small living room. The master bedroom is open-concept and includes one king-size bed, one bunk bed with two twin beds, and the living area. The second bedroom features one queen-size bed. The bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds and high-quality linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep, and they feature large windows that let in natural light and offer beautiful views of the lake. There is one full bathroom with ceramic tile and a shower with a bathtub.<br><br>In the house’s garden, you’ll find a beautiful patio with lush trees and colourful flowers. <br><br>This magical spot features a handcrafted sauna and hot tub, both heated by a wood fire and built with volcanic rock, blending harmoniously with the surrounding landscape.<br><br>The sauna, with its stone walls, radiates a comforting warmth that envelops visitors in an atmosphere of deep relaxation. The scent of burning wood mingles with the gentle steam, creating a sense of purification and renewal for both body and mind.<br><br>Next to the sauna, the hot tub carved from the same volcanic rock awaits discovery. Surrounded by lush nature and offering breathtaking views of the majestic volcano, immersing yourself in its warm waters is like stepping into an oasis of serenity. <br><br>In this harmonious blend of nature and human creation, visitors can connect with their inner selves, release built-up tension, and revitalise body and soul. We offer the option to turn the systems back on for an additional fee.<br><br>There is also a barbecue grill for preparing delicious outdoor meals with family and friends. The house is equipped with 1 kayak, 2 flip-flops, and 1 paddleboard for guests’ use.<br><br>At the dock, we have a Bayliner boat that seats 8 people.
