Santorini’s famous cliffside setting is very unique, with many of its properties built directly into the caldera and connected by pedestrian paths. As a result, guests walking past terraces is quite common, particularly along the beautiful Fira-to-Oia walking route. For those seeking complete privacy, a property further inland or in a different resort may be more suitable, although this does mean sacrificing some of the wonderful atmosphere and extraordinary Caldera views that make staying in this part of Santorini such a special experience.
