Quaint little piece of history centrally located and walkable to everything. Easy access to transit and walk everywhere, yet still quiet. All the fun quirks of an older home but with modern amenities.

We were very comfortable with the layout of the house with sleeping quarters on the first and third floors and the living/dining/kitchen rooms on the second floor. The location of the property was superb with easy access to everything and everywhere. We would definitely stay there again in the future, if visiting Bergen.

Our family of 4 ( we have 2 children in their 20’s) stayed here for three nights. We loved that the property was so close to everything, and loved that it was an older house….very authentic experience.The communication with the owner was absolutely incredible. I’d stay here again!

This home was ideal for our family vacation for a family of six. The house itself is beautiful and full of charm and character. The heaters work well, the beds are very comfortable and warm, and the shower is very warm. The host is friendly and a great communicator. The location is perfect, and we were able to easily walk to the fortress, tower, docks, museums, fjord boat meeting point, shops, and beautiful bakeries, cafes, and delicious restaurants. Usually when I stay in a place this close to the central attractions, the trade off in some cities is street noise, but that was not the case here. It is a great, quiet neighborhood where we slept great even though it is close to everything. Thanks, Jonas!

Natalie, finding a spot that sits steps from the fortress and docks yet still lets six people sleep soundly is rare, so it is good to hear the beds and quiet street delivered. Warm heaters and a hot shower sound like the right welcome after a day of walking. Come back and bring the bakery list.

Great central stay with a ton of character. The only challenge is a lack of nearby parking, but that’s more Bergen than anything. The place may be tricky for people challenged with stairs. But so cute and comfortable! Very quiet location. Would stay again!

Was not was the staged pictures portrayed. Minimal effort put into the unit for guest needs or convenience. Was disappointing. On the other hand a little effort would go along ways and a great location.

The property was not clean when we arrived. Food left in refrigerator. Laundry bags piled high in entryway. Rugs, floors and sinks not cleaned. We complained and gradually it improved but not at all up to expectations. Layout is a bit odd. But the location is perfect. Price is good. Despite that would not stay here again.

The home met most of our family needs. Wish it had a microwave oven. I appreciated the open and quick communication with property manager, Jonas. Our family also rented the home next door which made it very convenient. Thank you.

Perfect location. Host was very responsive. Home is very quaint. Steep stairs w 3 levels so if you can’t climb stairs it’s not for you. Beds were very comfortable! Home was perfect temperature and never had to even look for the heater. As with all European hotels / homes, there is never enough shelf space but that’s to be expected. Hooks on wall for hanging clothes but no closet or place to fold and unpack - not a big deal. Overall we loved it and felt like locals! Great sleep trumps all!
