Charming chalet on camping Scheldeoord, 5 min walk from the Westerschelde

Cosy chalet for 5 (or 6) people on a beautiful, green, and spacious campground—a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the surrounding nature and scenery.
2 bedrooms: 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds. Since March 2025, the living room has featured a new, comfortable sofa bed; see photos. Last year, this campground was named the coziest family campground by the sea; this year, it was awarded the Superplatz 2024 title.
We’ll make sure the beds are made upon arrival, and towels and kitchen linens are provided.
There’s a lovely garden surrounding the chalet, and the large seating area has a pull-out windscreen for more privacy. Various seating areas.
Comfortable garden chairs, a BBQ, 2 bicycles, etc. The price includes the tourist tax.
As of March 28, 2025 (start of the season through October 26, 2025), the new indoor pool will be ready, and there will be 2 water slides, new showers, and bathrooms. A special separate area by the pool will be added for younger children.
A 5-minute walk away is a small beach on the Westerschelde, and nearby is Brasserie de Landing.
A wonderful area for biking and hiking. At the campground, you can rent bicycles, e-bikes, e-hoppers, and go-karts, as well as use the tennis court.
During the season, from March 28, 2025, through October 26, 2025, the campground features an indoor and outdoor pool, including one for younger children. During this period, the supermarket on the grounds is also open, where you can pick up delicious fresh rolls, and there’s a snack bar and a small restaurant. The campground is beautifully spacious, green, and features several fenced-in areas where various animals roam, such as turkeys, deer, etc. There are also several playgrounds, a bouncy castle, a smaller indoor playground, and a chill zone.
Plenty of children’s entertainment during the season on weekends and holidays, plus a restaurant with a terrace, a special children’s buffet, and more.
Discover the charming villages in the area or visit the beautiful cities of Middelburg (old town); enjoy the fresh air on the boulevard or the nearby beach in Vlissingen; head to the tourist towns of Zoutelande and Domburg; or visit the city of Goes. Berkenhof, a subtropical butterfly garden in Kwadendamme, just 10 minutes away, has been named the best day trip several times. There’s also a large indoor playground in 's Heer Arendskerke.
We also highly recommend the beautiful historic town of Veere.
There’s a reptile museum in Vlissingen. In our chalet, you’ll find a large stack of brochures about local activities.

Free parking for 1 car next to the chalet; any additional cars can park nearby in the park’s car park, also free of charge. There are also charging stations there.
