Danilo & Valentina The apartment is located in the “Appio Claudio” area. Although the Tuscolano area is relatively new, it offers numerous attractions for residents and tourists alike. In Quadraro, in fact, youthful street art and vivid memories of the war come together. It’s a veritable open-air art gallery featuring a large number of murals—ranging from wasp nests to human faces, from fantastical subjects to political themes. The area is also located near one of the most famous examples of Roman architecture: the Parco degli Acquedotti. Here stand seven aqueducts, including the Claudian Aqueduct, one of the most important in ancient Rome. The site serves not only as a landmark for residents but also as a destination that attracts many tourists. Nor should we forget the importance of Cinecittà and its film studios. Founded in 1937, they have hosted directors and actors of the calibre of Federico Fellini, Martin Scorsese, Sophia Loren, Alberto Sordi, Vittorio De Sica, and many others. More than 3,000 films have been shot at Cinecittà, and as many as 51 have even won Oscars. Fellini once said that the city where he would have preferred to live was Cinecittà itself. It perfectly combines the beauty of Rome with the magic of cinema. It’s a area where so much beauty lies hidden. Getting around the area is a breeze!! Right on our street—more precisely, 350 metres from the building’s entrance—is a stop on Metro Line A (Lucio Sestio), Rome’s main metro line. With this, you can reach the city centre in just a few minutes. We’re also close to “Via Tuscolana,” a street full of services and shops, featuring major names like McDonald’s, H&M, Foot Locker, and many other brands. It’s also very well connected thanks to public transport along the street, with shopping centers and Cinecittà just a short walk away. Ciampino Airport: 15 min Termini Station: 13 min Metro Line A (Parco Degli Acquedotti): 250 metres on foot Roma Capannelle Racetrack: 10 min. Smoking is not permitted inside the property, but if you go to the kitchen, you’ll find a small but cosy outdoor area equipped with a table, two chairs, and an ashtray for smokers.
