On the large terrace, there is a wood-fired hot tub, garden furniture, barbecue, and a panoramic view of the fjord. 50 m to the quay with the boats. In the boathouse, there is a 200 liter freezer and a built-in fish cleaning area with light and running water. Plenty of space for fishing equipment. A few km from the house there is a large sandy beach; you can also swim from the bathing steps on the jetty. The area offers several great hiking opportunities. You can fish for trout in Lake Slortem, 1.3 km away, and salmon in the river Frøysetelva 4.6 km away. The nearest service point is Hosteland with a grocery store, restaurant and petrol station. Every Saturday you can buy fresh crayfish and other seafood from a fishing boat; this can be arranged in advance if you want to secure a few kilos. If you want a city experience, Bergen is only a short hour’s drive away, known for Bryggen, Fløybanen, the fish market and lots of restaurants and shopping places.
