Mermaids Dream is a beautifully decorated, well appointed Unique Beach house finished in September of 2017. This home is perfect for multi-family vacations and reunions!! Beautiful full size gourmet kitchen, large indoor family room living space, multiple outdoor dining and living spaces , full laundry room! 100 yards from Gulf; and literally steps from community pool. Hi-speed internet, flat screen tvs in all bedrooms. Open sunning deck on top level; covered decks on main level. All bedrooms open to a deck. Guests have direct access to the beautiful sugar sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, 2 large saltwater/saline pools (w/kiddie pool), as well as bay pier for great fishing!

Mermaids Dream has 4 spacious bedrooms and sleeps a total of 12 with QUEEN sleeper sofa in the main living room (Sleeps up to 16 if you rent the attached luxury apartment as well) Guests can enjoy the private luxurious attached 1 bedroom apartment that sleeps 4 with LUXURY KING SUITE as well as a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The 4 bedroom side of the house has 4 large bedrooms with 2.5 baths, a large living area and kitchen for gathering. All bedrooms have flat screen tv's, the living area has a 55" flat screen 4k HD.

Decks abound as well as luxurious under house seating/living room and cooking area that increases your outdoor living space. There is a back dining porch, a sun porch overlooking the pool and a 2nd floor sundeck for relaxing and enjoying the view.
Laundry room with full size washer and dryer is located upstairs for convenience to guests.

The 1 bedroom apartment has all the same amenities as the 4 bedroom side. Fully appointed gourmet kitchen, large living area with flat screen and private dining deck, there is also a 2nd floor deck off the master to enjoy the breeze and view. There is also a private and laundry area on the apartment side as well as 1-1/2 baths. Apartment rents separately $199/night (VRBO#1172079) $1200 weekly if rented with the 4 bedroom side.

We are located only 550 feet from the Gulf of Mexico in Bay to Breakers Community, on a private street with very little traffic and 50 feet from the saltwater pool To go fishing in the bay simply cross 180 and walk out onto the pier and dip your hook.
We are in quiet Fort Morgan, AL with a private beach for only our small street, yet we are only a 2 minute drive from Tacky Jacks 2 for beautiful sunset dinners on the deck, 5 minutes to Sassy Bass and close to all the Gulf Shores attractions.

Phenomenal location and perfect beach house

We rented this house for a large family get together and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house is absolutely gorgeous, incredibly clean and the bedrooms Were good sized With nice furnishings. Having the upstairs washer and dryer was a real convenience. The multiple levels and decks were very enjoyable and it came with everything You can think of or ever needed in the kitchen as well as The grilling space downstairs. The pool is literally steps away, and the beach is at the end of the cul-de-sac, which isn’t far at all. The beach was very clean, well groomed. Liz was Very accommodating and easy to work with and made sure our stay was just as promised. Already looking forward to booking this house for our next family getaway, I would highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed with this gorgeous beach house.

Our family of 11 stayed for a week . We had a great time. Beautiful home with enough room for everyone. Easy access to beach. The outdoor space was great. We grilled out and had a fire in one of the fire pits. Lots of deck space around the house. Multiple tables and chairs for outside use. Enjoyed having the pool next door for easy access. We have been going to Gulf Shores for 7 years staying in condos. The house was everyone’s favorite. Quiet area. No crowds to deal with. Hope to stay here again.

We rented Mermaids Dream and the attached apartment for our family of 13. Beautiful new property! Was wonderful to have the two kitchens and two living areas. Worked out great for our 8 adults and 5 kids. Loved the beach,pool and fishing pier that was all within walking distance. Family members suggest night stands in upstairs bedrooms, hooks in bathrooms and ice makers did not seem to make much ice. Rose was very good about answering any questions we had. Made wonderful memories and hope to return next year!

Celebrating 50th anniversary at the Mermaid

For our first beach trip in years, the Mermaid was the perfect choice! We decided to celebrate our marriage of 50 years with our entire family--3 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, and 6 grandchildren, and we were thrilled with the accommodations, proximity to beach, and space below for some memorable meals together. Why go out to eat (although there are several nice places nearby--Tacky Jack's and Sassy Bass to name a few) when you have a large grill, two fire pits, and plenty of seating for even our crowd? The decor was lovely, and the kitchen facilities--a must for a large family--were roomy and very well equipped! Our grands were especially amazed at the multiplicity of large televisions! We heartily recommend a stay at the Mermaid--don't wait, though. Bookings like this one will fill quickly!

We rented the house including the apartment for a beach get away for New Years. This house has everything! Amazing decor and fully furnished kitchens with decks at all levels! A short walk to the beach or the bay - truly beautiful!! There is plenty of room for everyone! We will definitely come back!

Amazing House !

This house definitely is unique. This is the first time we rented a house with an attached apartment for the in laws, and we LOVED it ! The house is gorgeous, convenient to the beach, pool and bay for fishing. The furnishings are very tasteful and comfortable, the bedrooms are not all crowded up, you actually can move, and the apartment is a whole other house by itself with a full sized, fully stocked kitchen, private bedroom with Jacuzzi bath, the in laws loved being with the grandkids, but they also loved the privacy and peace and quiet of their own space. The 4 bedroom side has a wonderful kitchen, living and dining area that is open and spacious. the walk to the beach is maybe 100 yards, the pool is right next door, it has decks to take in all the views and relax or eat. There is a grilling area under the house with seating to sit and chat while enjoying the Gulf breeze and cooking. I cannot say enough good things about this home, except that we will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later. The description by the owner doesn't do it justice !

We have this beautiful home that was just completed in 2017, as well as the attached apartment and our home on the other side of the pool named The Lazy Lizard. We built these as a place for our large extended family to get together and enjoy our beautiful private beach, along with the pool, going fishing in the bay or just relaxing in Fort Morgan where the crowds haven't taken over yet.

Why they chose this property

It only took one vacation to Fort Morgan for our entire family to fall in love with the beaches,
tranquility and peace of it.

What makes this property unique

We chose Bay to Breakers because it is away from the crowds, yet close enough to anything we might want to do in town. We love the pool and the private beach with no crowds. There are very very houses on our street, so we don't have constant traffic and noise.
