Lovely stay! The house is beautifully presented, clean, and in a fantastic location. You’re close to everything – the city centre, the Cathedral, shops, quirky and charming ale houses, and even a large Sainsbury’s less than a 10-minute walk away! Nina, the host, was very communicative and welcoming. I would definitely stay at Pretty City Centre Cottage again and highly recommend it!

My review is for the place that the host moved us to (which was allegedly very similar), not the one we actually booked. The check-in process went smoothly enough, but the property was not very clean. Lots of dust and cobwebs, a dirty cutting board left on the counter. There were piles of trash outside and the back yard was in complete disarray. The kitchen was ill equipped only containing what looked like the two oldest teflon pots in existence to cook with. There was no dryer though that was listed in the amenities of the place I originally booked. The hot water didn’t work until someone came to look at the boiler. Thankfully it was an easy fix so we could take hot showers. The host was very unapologetic about these issues.
