Dimora Schioppo is a refined agritourism property nestled in the enchanting countryside of Calitri, where history and nature blend to create a unique atmosphere. This elegant historic residence, dating back to the 19th century, has been skilfully restored to offer a comfortable and relaxing stay in the heart of the Italian countryside.
Dimora Schioppo features four rooms located on the ground floor—three double rooms and one triple room—each tastefully furnished and equipped with a private bathroom. The rooms combine rustic elements with modern comforts, creating cosy spaces where it’s pleasant to unwind after a day exploring the area.
On the ground floor, guests have access to a well-equipped shared kitchen and a spacious living room with a TV, ideal for socialising or relaxing. Breakfast, included in the stay, is served with fresh local products, allowing you to start the day with authentic flavours.
Outside, Dimora Schioppo is surrounded by expansive green spaces and a picturesque olive grove, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. It’s the perfect place to take a stroll, read a book in the shade of an olive tree, or simply enjoy the view.
Historically, the estate served as a farmhouse for the Tozzoli family, one of Calitri’s most renowned landowning families; the ground floor housed stables, a barn, and spaces for processing agricultural products, while the upper floors were used as living quarters.
Today, Dimora Schioppo represents a perfect blend of history, nature, and hospitality, offering an ideal retreat for those seeking a relaxing holiday in one of Italy’s most picturesque corners, on the border between Campania, Puglia, and Basilicata.
Upon request and subject to availability, a single bed can be added for a third guest.
