We had a lovely stay at Courtyard House! The cottage was beautiful, full of gorgeous antiques, and immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had more than enough cooking/dining-ware. The garden was stunning (we’re going to use it as inspiration for our own back home). It was all exactly what we hoped it would be when booking! The surrounding village is picturesque and it is a very quick and easy drive to neighboring villages for additional exploring.Our only note was that the drive leading to the parking area is very narrow with very sharp turns and not suitable for larger vehicles. If you have a vehicle larger than a sedan or small hatchback you will likely need to find alternative parking.

We truly enjoyed our visit and stay from the US. The house was cozy and just what our family of four needed. Recommend the fireplace on the cold winter nights. The kitchen was well equipped, as was the rest of the house. Definitely recommend approaching the property from Backends and coming down Bell Bank from the top of the hill.
