We loved it

Simple, charming, clean and warm. The underfloor heating was a surprise and provides ample heat. A very comfortable bed. A good supply of logs and kindling for the first night or two. The fenced garden was big enough for our 2 dogs although one of them did escape - the fence isn't high at one end. The location is quiet, rarely a car but plenty of people walking past the cottage to keep our dogs entertained. We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend Plas Bach.

Renovated stone cottage close to Anglesey Coastal Path

Lovely cottage for two close to a scenic section of the Anglesey Coastal Path and some attractive sandy beaches. This cottage, although quite small, is ideal for two people. There is a well laid out modern kitchen and a comfortable sitting/dining room. It is worth noting that the toilet is downstairs so you need to go down the wood stairs from the mezzanine bedroom to use it at night. Which may not be convenient for less able people. Some more garden furniture would be nice as there is only a bench to sit and admire the lovely views. The cutlery also needs replacing as there is only an odd assortment of items. The hot water is also way too hot!! There is a quality pub/restaurant within walking distance.

A LOVELY OLD COTTAGE

e first stayed here in the 90;s. It has been sensibly updated and in general it was very enjoyable. The dogs loved the garden and weather was fair I had tried to open the downstairs windows and even with the help of the guy staying across the lane we could not get them open. There were quite a few cobwebs which looked well settled. We left 2 days before the heatwave started. Although not that common in North West Wales nonetheless I would hope that the owners address this issue. The size of the downstairs area, with its original, but old front door, would make a stay inside of any length of time in heat overbearing

6/10 Okay

Disappointed

Only stayed for 4 nights but was prepared to come home after 2. The ceilings were low, especially upstairs, and was constantly banging my head. (I’m 6’1”) Never stayed anywhere else where there is a toilet in the living room !! Advertised with Wi-Fi but it is very poor. We found out from the visitors book that you need to go across road to the other property, and hopefully if anybody is in they can give you the password. We got it but the signal is pants and we gave up after a day. Upstairs the bath is at the end of the bed, this is unsafe as there is no bath mat and very slippy getting in and out at the same time as stooping because the roof is even lower. There are 2 chairs outside which we suspect were in the property when it was built, they are rusted through and some trusting soul is going to have a nasty fall. It is in a lovely position for walking and the beach with a pub just 15 mins walk away, it’s just a shame that the adverts don’t show the real property that you are renting. Finally there are no instructions when you arrive, nothing about internet or anything, thanks goodness for the people that wrote about the password next door though it was wasted. The only instruction is fixed to the wall asking you not to turn the heating up because it overloads the system. We looked in the fuse box and OMG it’s black and has obviously been burning at some point. Come on owners get your act together, it could be so much better.h
