I’m a very seasoned traveller. This stay has been the worst experience I’ve had with accommodation. The apartment advertisement is very misleading. The host is wildly unhelpful, avoidant, and quickly became unresponsive. We booked this house specifically for the air conditioning in the middle of July. On arrival neither were working. The host didn’t offer any remedy. They came to look at it in person, agreed it wasn’t working, and then ghosted us. A The host listed the property knowing they weren’t working. We are out of pocket 200 as we needed to purchase fans to survive the 36 degree heat wave. The door to the main bedroom is also half missing and doesn’t offer any privacy for the occupants in the room. We had to hang a blanket over the door frame for three weeks like a curtain. The host listed the property knowing this fault. We later saw deleted listings of this property on Stayz and Airbnb back in May where there were similar reviews of an unresponsive host, disrepair air conditioning and hot water system, and the missing door. In those listings, the host denies any existence of the faults. The host appears to be deleting listings with poor reviews and republishing it new. Let’s see how long this review stays!
