This is a terrific villa for a family or small group…5-6 ppl. We visited with our adult children and couldn’t have been more pleased! Walking into the courtyard, we felt like we were in a villa yet we were steps from shopping and good restaurants. The villa is old-world elegance with modern amenities. The layout is ideal for privacy and family gatherings! The kitchen was well appointed and the rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. There is plenty of space for lounging in the sun and the hot tub was a good size. For location, this villa is nestled among luxury suites and other accommodations and is very close to the primary drop off for transports to and from Santorini sight seeing. We rented a car for a day and found parking was easy. Mini mart is right around the corner for essentials and a larger grocer was about a 20 minute walk.The property manager is local and was very helpful for check in and check out and had great suggestions for dining and activities. Porters took care of moving our luggage to and from the taxi.The caldera view from the upper levels was excellent.

Amazing stay! The villa accommodated us nicely ( we were 3 couples). The space was character filled with curved arches and hallways. The outside area had 3 patio areas and a hot tub and the most spectacular views we have ever experienced. Jackie was a gem! She answered all our questions and arranged the excursions we were interested in. We all felt the location was perfect as it was a short walk to Fira yet provided us with space and quiet when desired. A fantastic experience from start to finish!

The views are beyond stunning, the home is is such a great location. I can’t say enough good things about Jackie’s home, this was the highlight of our trip around Greece.The views are beyond stunning, the home is is such a great location.On the edge of the shops and restaurants so everything is in walking distance, the area around is very clean & quiet so you get a great sleep.Beds are very comfortable & they have everything you would need.Jackie was quick to answer & arranged our pick up/drop off and was so flexible with our check in & out.She is so sweet & welcoming.Do not pass this place up! Hot tub feels like you are floating in the sky with the views you see

Beautiful views, but accommodations were less than expected.

Nemo retreat has a spectacular view of the caldera side. Remarkable. The location is also great and within walking distance of many restaurants. We also found it to be quite safe and a relatively quiet spot to stay. However, given the cost per night, we expected an equally spectacular place to lay our heads and to get washed up each day. Instead, we were met with pretty dusty accommodations, literally layers of dust on some items (e.g., remote control, surfaces, etc). We never received clean towels, either, which was not only gross, but a serious turnoff of the entire stay. We mentioned this, and the next set of towels were not stained, like the first set but they were very well worn. Clean towels is a basic expectation that should have been met. The bathroom in the main house desperately needs renovating. My housemates complained of bugs and nasty grout in the bathroom, not at all befitting of a place that was so expensive per night. Our takeaway is that the owner rests heavily on the views and invests little to nothing in the actual accommodations. That is unacceptable. I’d recommend Santorini to anyone I know, but I would not recommend they stay at this property, or at least not for the price they charged us.

Deceptive pics / unprofessional management

Although the property was in a beautiful location, the overall experience was not worth the price by any means. The pictures are deceptive, and the place is much smaller than it appears online; the jacuzzi barely fits 4 people, and it's not properly maintained. The place overall was not adequately cleaned (dust in tables, etc). What was worse, was the communication with the Airbnb host. Although I informed them that there may be a 7th guest, I never received a response, assuming it was ok. When we got there, they informed us, that there was a 60 Euro /night additional charge for the extra person, that I was perfectly fine paying, until we saw the extra "bed". The "bed" was a mattress that was impossible to sleep on; I am sure beds in prisons provide more comfort. Our friend after the first night decided to rent another room in a hotel nearby, as he was having lower back pain from the mattress. I politely told this to the Airbnb host, and his response was to pay the 180Eur immediately, otherwise he will "report me and force the payment through Airbnb". Also when I told him that this was not a great experience, his response was that "my attempt to threaten a bad review is sad". I have rented places in Greece through Airbnb multiple times, and this was by far the rudest communication I have received. They are based outside of the country, and have no idea of the concept of Greek hospitality. Finally, not a single bottle of water or coffee as a welcome gift. Just a sad 4 Euro wine. For a 1000 Euro/ night property, that's pretty cheap. Do yourself a favor and find another place in this gorgeous island.

This Is the problem I had with Theo. He booked for 6 persons and paid for 6 persons but they are arrived in 7 persons. As per terms and condition I had could refuse to let them check in only for this reason but of course this is not our way to act and since there was the possibility to add a camp bed for the 7th person, we have done it asking for a fee of € 60 per night ( they stayed 3 nights) as specified in the property rates. After the first night he affirmed that the camp bed was not enough comfortable so for the following night he said that the 7th person had moved in an hotel nearby the villa but the villa provide daily cleaning included in the price and the housekeeper has been able to veryfy that the 7th person never moved from there. Anyway , we asked for the payment of the difference due but with the results to be threat by him for a bad review Finally he never paid the difference and he also wrote us bad reviews Said this do your consideration on this review posted by this guest
