Wonderful place to stay in East Glacier! The hosts were so nice and responsive. We loved the views and having room to spread out after staying at a hotel. Gorgeous views!
Spacious and very comfortable. Fantastic location particularly for East side of park. Great views. Everything was perfect. I would change nothing. We will stay here again if back to Glacier
We stayed here 15 years ago and it was just as we remembered it. This family is such a great host. I hope it's not another 15 years before we come back.
This is a great place to stay and Leslie and Carl are close by to answer any questions. We have stayed with them several times and every trip was amazing.
What a lovely stay - had 5 adults stay in Summit. The rooms are all comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with any cookware and utensils you could need to eat at home. Washing machine and dryer were a blessing and helpful to have two bathrooms. The views are just stunning - made it difficult to want to leave! The hosts were all so kinds - reachable any time and even had fresh scones to welcome us. We also had the host’s huckleberry carrot cake at nearby Serranos Mexican restaurant - sold out quick so order dessert first!
We stayed here June 27th - July 1st and used this as our home base for the Vacation Races Glacier Half Marathon and exploring Glacier National Park, Kalispell, and Whitefish. Highly recommend! Clear communication, welcoming location, and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the cozy living room and fully stocked kitchen. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed having the AC, as it was hot for Montana! Thank you for being apart of our once in a lifetime trip!
We loved the location of the house. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. House was stocked with all essentials and more. Wish we would have spent more nights here before heading to the West side.
We arrived at night and waking up to the views out of the living room and property were awesome especially with the fireplace keeping us warm. The place was very clean, felt like home and just what we were hoping for. Highly recommend. We stayed here as a base camp for our East glacier trip and was perfect location.
The property, in whole, exceeded our expectations. Everything needed was there and more. Owners were available, helpful and clearly cared for our satisfaction. Backdrop of the mountains made for a gorgeous setting.
Very comfortable, clean, well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Morning alpenglow on the mountains is stunning while enjoying coffee in the kitchen. Location is ideal for exploring Glacier National Park, particularly the East side. We would definitely, happily stay here again.
Perfect location in between East and West Glacier which made it easy to get to both. Perfect size space with room for everyone. Owners easy to access if needed. Everything we needed was supplied and the directions and pointers were perfect!
Family with 6 adults and one 2 year old stayed at this property for our vacation at Glacier National Park. This property was perfect for us. Everything we needed, beautiful views, great hosts, and a reasonable drive to all the sights on the East side of Glacier! Thank you!

Great property with great views. Enough grocery stores and restaurants within 10 minutes. Host was fantastic. Room was great. Hiking trail on property was nice. Convenient to Many Glacier and East side of Glacier which is much less busy than west side.

About the host
Hosted by Carl and Leslie Haggar
Carl and Leslie Haggar have lived in East Glacier for over forty years. They love hiking in Glacier Park in the summer and skiing the nearby mountain trails in the winter. Carl is also an avid fisherman and hunter, and loves to share his stories about recreating in this beautiful country. They built a successful woodworking business, manufacturing wooden kitchen products, such as bread knives, cutting boards, and recipe boxes. They have since sold the business, but Carl continues to put his woodworking skills to work by creating cabinets and furniture for their vacation rental. They love to share their favorite haunts with their visitors, and are very knowledgeable about trails, streams, and lakes in the Glacier Park area.
What makes this property unique
The property is located in a beautiful rural setting, with a lovely little trail that goes to an active beaver pond, home to a variety of ducks and geese. There is world-class fishing nearby on the Reservation lakes, as well as in Glacier Park. The rental is very cozy and well stocked and provides a perfect ending to an adventure-filled day.
