Think twice before booking. We booked 2 nights in a caravan. On arrival we were not fully happy with the caravan condition and cleanliness so came back home to Devon the same day. We sent the owner a message to explain and let them know we had gone home as the caravan would now be empty. Since then we have been accused of staying 1 night in a different caravan. Not sure how this was possible. We did not know they had other caravans amongst the 100 on the site or any access codes.

The caravan was difficult to find as numbers were not in order and no allocated parking space for the caravan. We could tell from the outside of the caravan that things inside weren’t going to be great. There were three foldable chairs and a small table in which were all rusted and one of the chairs was broken and put under the caravan. The cladding under the front part of the caravan was hanging off and in the breeze was creaking against the caravan. Once inside, things weren’t any better. There was a funny smell to caravan, small food stains on the kitchen ceiling, sealant in the shower was all mouldy, cobwebs and staining on the bathroom ceiling, stains on one of beds bedding in the twin room and a piece of hair in the other bed in the twin room. The chest of drawers in the double bedroom had a big chunk out of the top of it. Luckily we brought extra towels with us, as we used them for bedding. We slept on one and used another as a blanket. We tried to find somewhere to stay but being school holidays and there being 4 of us, we were unable to find available accommodation. We had no option to stay at the caravan as we had travelled for 5 hours for a wedding. We left the caravan as soon as we could the morning after the wedding
