Relax at Hacienda Oxta, a beautiful, renovated 19th-century hacienda. This architectural gem has been carefully restored to offer you a unique experience in an authentic setting steeped in history. Its colonial architecture and lush gardens make this a truly unique place.
Today, Hacienda Oxta is a productive plantation of young Brazilian coconut palms, with more than 40 hectares planted.
You can enjoy its delicious coconut water during your stay.
The hacienda was restored 5 years ago and features all the amenities and comforts; air conditioning in every bedroom and the dining room,
high-speed internet, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a TV, a pool, a barbecue area, a terrace, and more. The French-influenced colonial architecture of the main house, its beautiful gardens, and the surrounding coconut plantation make this place an exceptional paradise.
In addition to the main house, there are other notable buildings. There is an unrestored 19th-century former machine room, where henequen was processed during Yucatán’s golden age; you’ll be able to admire it during your stay. Also, the old factory—which you’ll see painted red as you enter the property—is in a different architectural style than the main house.
You’ll have access to the entire property; you’ll be staying in the main house, and all areas of the main house are reserved exclusively for you.
If you’d like to stroll through the coconut plantation, you’re welcome to do so; we recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the walk. If you’d like to admire the ruins of the former machine room, you’re welcome to do so; we just ask that you exercise caution since it’s a 19th-century relic.
The only area you cannot access without first booking a tour is the coconut processing building—the former factory—which is the red structure located at the entrance to the property. It is not connected to the main house.
Let yourself be swept away by the magic of the past and enjoy a journey back in time.
