Our stay was amazing. We had the best time relaxing and taking in the scenery. The lodge was clean and comfortable. We love the thoughtful little touches left by the hosts. It was a very peaceful stay and could not have been better! We are so happy we found this listing and are looking for when we can come back! Would 100% recommend to anyone! Thank you for the lovely stay!

If your idea of bliss is no neighbours, nature, seclusion, wildlife, sunrise and sunsets, walks from the door, this place is a dream. Great for photography. Endless time will be spent just taking in the views.

Wow. The property is better than any pictures can portray. Key words to describe our experience during our stay are - perfect, secluded, wildlife, quality, helpful and amazing. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully the sun will be a bit warmer and less rain.

Perfect for dogs, open plan, blanket, towel and pooh bags supplied. Patio area completely secure, immediate surrounding grass area mowed. Interesting walks from the Lodge. Silence really is golden, the only thing we could hear was wildlife. Waking up to pheasants and hares, watching the barn owls and the foxes. We even had a toad visit us! A wonderfully clean and comfortable stay, despite the rain.

Had such a relaxing weekend. Lodge has everything you will need. Even dog bowls and towels. Extremely clean. The location was amazingly private. Lots of beautiful wildlife. Will definitely be returning.

Wow! What a fantastic place! We stayed here for a week but could have stayed longer it was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places we have ever stayed in the world! The photos do not do it justice! With a complete 360" panoramic countryside view and no houses or buildings to be seen in any direction it gives total seclusion and privacy. We absolutely loved The Lodge, very high quality finish inside and out and fantastic attention to detail. The kitchen was Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need! The bed and lounge very comfortable. Nikki was a great host with outstanding communication. The highlight for us was watching the Hares and being surrounded by nature, birds & dragonflys! The village of Old is 1 mile walk and nearby supermarket was only a 5 minute drive away. Easy to find, just look out for the wooden gate along Mill Lane. We would highly recommend Mill Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside retreat to relax and unwind!
