My family and I had a really lovely stay here. We were a group of three adults, three children and a dog and the cottage provided ample space for all of us during our two night stay. The cottage was nicely decorated and furniture was comfortable and good quality. Everything was clean and well maintained and my nephews particularly enjoyed the stocked cupboards of board games! We really appreciated the high chair, children's dinnerware and toys too for our 18 month old niece staying here. The kids also enjoyed the short stroll to McDonald's for breakfast and the dog was very happy with the field down the road! We visited Sherwood Forest, Sherwood Pines and Rufford Abbey all within a 10 minute drive. We all really enjoyed our stay here and would happily be back. We actually had to coax our dog out of the cottage when it was time to leave, he didn't want to go at all! Only minor problem was we were sent two different codes to the gates to get in. We didn't realise this at first and the first code we tried contained in an email from Vrbo was incorrect and didn't work causing a slight panic when we arrived. Luckily, we did eventually get enough signal to get online and find the correct code.

Hi Cheyenne, Thank you so much for your lovely review, we’re really glad to hear you and your family had such a great stay and made the most of the cottage and the local area 😊 We’re especially pleased the children enjoyed the games and that the little touches for your niece were helpful, that means a lot to us. We’re very sorry about the confusion with the gate codes on arrival. We had recently updated them, but it seems the correct details didn’t reach you in time through Vrbo, which we completely understand must have been frustrating after your journey. Thank you for your patience in getting it sorted. We’d love to welcome you all back again in the future (including your dog, who clearly felt right at home!).
