About this property

Knockenhooley is a beautiful traditional cottage on the magical Isle of Skye

Knockenhooley Cottage

A little piece of Highland magic on the Isle of Skye 🏔️🌊

Welcome to Knockenhooley Cottage, a beautifully restored late-1800s traditional stone croft cottage where authentic Highland character meets luxurious modern comfort.

Lovingly furnished with an exceptional attention to detail, the cottage blends original features and timeless Scottish style with sumptuous interiors. From the original iron bedroom door locks brought back to life to the Scottish thistle stair rods, every detail has been carefully chosen to celebrate the cottage’s heritage.

Relax in the beautifully styled living room, where rich leather and traditional tweed create a warm, elegant and inviting space after a day exploring the spectacular Isle of Skye.

With four beautifully appointed bedrooms — two king-size and two doubles — ornate beds, luxurious furnishings and carefully considered colour schemes provide a peaceful sanctuary in which to unwind.

Outside, the large enclosed garden offers magnificent panoramic views across Broadford Bay, the Inner Sound and the mountains and islands beyond. With a private driveway and plentiful parking, there’s plenty of space to relax and enjoy the ever-changing beauty of Skye.

Although wonderfully peaceful and rural, Knockenhooley Cottage is far from isolated. Restaurants, a supermarket and petrol station are all within approximately a mile, while the beach is just a short drive away.

Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation or simply somewhere truly special to escape to, Knockenhooley Cottage is the perfect base from which to experience the magic of Skye.

Come for the landscapes. Stay for the magic.

Knockenhooley Cottage — where the magic begins and ends, in a land like no other. 💙
