Beautiful Views

Great roomy space for large a large group. Beautiful views of surrounding mountains, water, and Temple of Poseidon. Nice short walk to a few different beaches. 15-30 minute walk to some very good restaurants.

Great home great location!

The home was clean and spacious and Pagona was very responsive and accommodating. The location is perfect close to all the great beaches and little hiking trails. Also a 5 min trip to Downtown Lavrio and 10min to Sounio Beach. Will return!

The communication with the host and the extra things that she did before we arrived and while we were arriving was above and beyond welcoming! I have rented 30-40 times using VRBO and this host and home was absolutely the best! We will always stay here when we visit Greece. If you want the best experience- stay here! We had 11 guests and we all had plenty of room and privacy. So many extra places to relax in this home! 10/10. Short walk to beach and seeing the Temple of Poseidon from our balconies was a bonus! Our host sent use useful info for the area as well as quickly responded to questions about food and or using appliances. She had everything stocked for our first morning so we would have coffee and fruits and snacks before we made a grocery run. She was the BEST!

Die Ausstattung, Lage, der Service und die Großzügigkeit der Architektur waren perfekt.

Wir waren 7 Menschen zwischen 2 und 67 und jeder hatte die Möglichkeit sich ruhig zurückzuziehen. Die Küchenausstattung hat uns erlaubt, köstliche Essen zuzubereiten. Die Kommunkation mit den Besitzern war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die beiden nahen Strände waren eine tolle Mischung, der eine klein, versteckt mit Fontänen aus Felslöchern sprühend, der andere ein komfortabler Strand mit Liegen, Sonnenschirmen und entspannten Einheimischen und Im Meer Fische, die man schnorchelnd beobachten konnte.

Groot huis aan de kust, 40km onder Athene

Het huis is goed onderhouden, ligt op een helling ca 100m van het strand en heeft een mooi uitzicht op de zee. We waren met 12 personen; voor allen was een goed bed beschikbaar met air conditioning in alle kamers (was nodig hittegolf, met name de laatste paar dagen). De infrastructuur (buiten de bedden) was niet goed ingesteld op 12 personen; kleine keuken, kleine vaatwasmachine en te kleine tafels, te weinig stoelen (voor 12 personen) in huis en op het terras. Dit kon opgelost worden met enige improvisatie. De huishoudelijke apparatuur werkte zonder problemen. Al met al een heel plezierig verblijf gehad.

Très belle villa dans un superbe site

Une très belle villa, aussi belle que sur les photos, aménagée avec un mobilier parfait, que les onze personnes présentes, petits et grands ont apprécié. Surtout les terrasses et la vue sur la mer dont on ne se lasse pas. la localisation a bien permis, comme prévu, de profiter de la plage et de visiter Athènes et d'autres site de l'Attique. Une mention particulière pour le temple d'Artémis et son superbe musée à Vravrona.

Greek Paradise

We had last September a wonderful relaxing week at this villa. Our family loved our stay. The property was the best equipped we have ever stayed. It has the most stunning views of the sea directly in front!!!! We ate fresh fish at the lovely taverna, Pagona recommended us. It was all in all a most relaxing week!!!

2. Star watching at night!!!

Our time at Hidesign Villa in Sounio was fantastic. We were a group of 3 couples and the house worked out perfectly. We met with Hara and Pagona at Lavrio town and they guided us to the villa, showed us around. The villa is amazing . All the rooms have air-condition. The equipment of the kitchen and of the house is incredible. The location is quiet and peaceful . We also did star watching at night. Unforgettable!!!

1. Gorgeous Villa - Perfect Location

Gorgeous villa ! The perfect location for exploring Athens and the surrounding area. We enjoyed the home and the hospitality of our hosts , Hara and Pagona. We enjoyed the clear blue waters in the beach in front of the house. The must : Breathtaking sunset at the unique Temple of Poseidon . An oasis of Calm

For a quick city escape surrounded by beautiful swimming coves this is an ideal summer escape. This house has an incredible amount of space that is ideal for big families or large groups. Set up high on a hill overlooking the sea, it offers a quiet and peaceful environment to relax in. A fully functional kitchen with huge living areas. A short drive will get you in touch with traditional tavernas and major sites including the Temple of Poseidon. The management are extremely hospitable to ensure you have a pleasant stay.

Ein Traumurlaub

Wir verbrachten 10 Wunderbare Tage in dieser Traumvilla. 6 Erwachsene mit 4 Kindern. Traumhafte Lage mit grandiosem Ausblick.Genügend Platz für jeden. Vor dem Haus ein Sandstrand in 5 Minuten Gehweg und hinter dem Haus nach 8 Minuten Gehweg eine Traumhafte Kiessteinbucht die wir unter der Woche fast immer für uns alleine gehabt haben. Im Ort sind ein kleines Geschäft und ein Bäcker wo man die notwendigsten Dinge einkaufen kann. Mit dem Auto ca. 5 Minuten zu fahren. Im Haus hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und in den Schlafräumen ist überall eine Klimaanlage.Da es den ganzen Urlaub lang nie unter 30 Grad hatte war die Dusche im Garten Gold wert. Im Umkreis von 20 km sind einige gute Lokale wo man ausgezeichnet Griechisch essen gehen kann.Im nächsten größeren Ort Lavrio sind zwei Supermärkte für den Großeinkauf, Fischmärkte und etliche gute Lokale. Bei der Ankunft hat uns Kostis ( Hausherr) mit seinem Wagen vom Flughafen abgeholt.Danke nochmals.Transferzeit vom Flughafen waren ca. 40 Minuten. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub den wir sofort wieder machen würden.

Splendid villa, great sea watched by Poseidon

The villa is wonderful with a very clever architectural design, incorporating the fabulous view of the sea and the temple of Poseidon, while giving privacy to each room, perfectly maintained. We met the representative of the owner and she was very nice and friendly. The house was equipped with very good towels and lines, utensils, washing machine and dishwasher, washing and cleaning materials, fruits, condiments, basics and ouzo, more than for the first day as promised. We loved swimming in the see and walking on the colons, we loved waiting for the sunset at the temple of Poseidon and the food shops (fisher, butcher and even the supermarket) and the restaurants, especially in the market area of Lavrio. Somme of us visited Athens and we enjoyed the fact that the distance to and from the airport is short, so we did not loose a day travelling. We already recommended the house to friends and we will do it again..

Excellent location

We rented this house with 11 adults for a 1 week stay in October. Very nice location with nice views over the beach, bays and capes. Good for walking, biking and good starting point to make city trips to Athens. Friendly and accurate service provided by owner Pagona. Well equiped nice modern villa. We had a great week.

A Beautiful Family Reunion/40th Anniversary!

We stayed at the villa in Sounio for a month in August-September, 2014. It was a beautiful, simple villa in the Greek island style at the top of a hill overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea. It was indoor/outdoor type living as there were multiple terraces with our master bedroom terrace facing the sea and the living room opening up by multiple sliding glass doors onto a large terrace also overlooking the sea. We had our entire family there for half the time and friends the other half. Our family included a child and toddler who were delighted with the villa and playing and swimming on the beaches everyday. We had our choice of numerous beaches within walking distance and tons of beaches within 5 minutes to an hour driving. We went to the town for our supplies plus wine and liquor stores plus an amazing farmer's market every Thursday where we bought our fruit, veggies, nuts, oils, olives and even fresh fish! The town had lots of good restaurants and snack bars with cheese/spinach pies and rotisserie chicken, pizza etc. The kitchen in our villa was fully stocked with everything needed to cook and serve our meals. The bedrooms were very roomy and comfortable and the bathrooms were totally newly renovated with beautiful sinks and showers. Everything was clean and well-maintained. If we needed anything it was a phone call away. Pagona and Maria did everything they could to accommodate us, our family and our friends. We spent many happy hours eating our meals on the terrace and just staring at the sea. We also were very convienient to the port and took several ferry trips to neighboring islands and even were able to hire a sailboat for the day to take us to Kea and swim at some amazing spots. The villa was on a hill so we would walk up and down the hill to the various beaches but for an elderly or handicapped person it would not be appropriate except for being driven down to the sandy beach. I would suggest water shoes for more ease of entry into the water at the rocky beaches, which were so breathtakingly beautiful! We were there for a month so we made many friends on the beaches and everyone was very warm! Its a very casual restful vacation in a beautiful home with very good air conditioners for the warmer months, although there were evenings when we didn't use them at all-the sea breeze was lovely! One more thing-when we go there (we rented a car from the airport), there was fruit, cheese, yogurt, wine coffee and other goodies waiting for us!

We had a pleasant stay in Sounio. The villa is excellent. With 4 adults and 6 children it was very comfortable. The terrace and the seaview is incredible. The owners are very nice and helpful. We recommend the house explictly.

our by far best holiday home experience ever

The place is great. Pictures give you a good Impression but in reality it's much better: the house is a unique architectural jewel but with understatement. I've never seen a Holiday home as well equipped as this one. Not to speak of the warm welcome they gave us that's above and beyond what they had to do. Congratulations!
