The Space

It is a 40-square-meter, one-bedroom apartment with two single beds (which can be converted into one double) and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. It is fully equipped with everything you need. It was completely renovated in September 2016

The apartment complex has direct access to a beautiful beach. It’s just 150 meters from the apartment, with no need to cross any roads or railroad tracks. There is a narrow tunnel leading to the beach, which is why the beach is never crowded.

There is a laundry room on the same floor outside the apartment. There is a communal play area for children and some communal gardens (the ones shown in the photos). The apartment’s staircase looks a bit outdated and could use a cosmetic update. Wi-Fi is quite limited in the area

The most special thing about the apartment is its proximity to a beautiful beach, the views, and the mountains in the background (you can also see the photos). The apartment is located in an area surrounded by nature (mountains in the background and the beach in front). That’s why, if you want to get around, it’s best to bring a car. There’s a supermarket/grocery store a 5-minute walk away (not far)

The nearest train station is Canet de Mar, a 20-minute walk along the road. It takes 35–40 minutes to reach downtown Barcelona. We highly recommend bringing your own car. You can park your vehicle near the station and take the train to Barcelona

Regarding the tourist tax:

Anyone 17 years of age or older staying in an apartment, hostel, hotel, campground, or on a cruise ship must pay this tax.
This tax applies only during the first 7 nights of your stay.
The amount of the tax varies depending on the type of accommodation you choose and whether you are staying in Barcelona or elsewhere in Catalonia. Below are the rates for apartment rentals.
Apartments in Barcelona: €2.48 per person per night (VAT included)
Apartments in the rest of Catalonia: €0.99 per person per night (VAT included)

The tourist tax is payable upon arrival to the apartment owner, who will transfer the payment to the Generalitat de Catalunya.
