I own a property that I’ve listed in VRBO in Washington, North Carolina. I am constantly a five star provider. My experience in Malta was anything but a pleasant one. On arriving, it was difficult to get into the building because the directions lacked clarity. Getting into the apartment was simpler. But once since inside, we first tried to get onto the Internet, but it would not work, nor would television would work. Eventually we began to understand the problem was with the router. The router would not stay connected to the cord and continually would pop loose even if no one was touching it. We called or texted the owner four or five times during our stay there, however, no one ever came to fix the problem. In order to contact him we had to go two blocks to a coffee shop in order to have access to “Wi-Fi“. There was one tea towel in the kitchen and no drying rack. There were no instructions for operating the washing machine, and all of the labels on the knobs had been worn off. Bedtime was another unpleasant experience. The thin mattresses were lumpy and bumpy. A mattress topper would help a great deal. also, the sheets were just not big enough for the mattresses and as l slept, they came loose about halfway through the night. Fitted sheets would also help that problem. The unit was clean, but water had damaged the walls and it had not been repaired, and the unit was generally aesthetically unappealing. Also, we bought 2 lightbulbs, toilet, paper, and paper towels.
