Amazing
What a wonderful stay at an incredible property. We loved it and our dogs loved it.
Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning and sharing this stunning property with friends and family. .can't wait to return.
Was lovely to meet the owner James who was an absolute gentleman.
Thanks so much
I have a travel business and am lucky enough to stay in some of the best hotels in the world and this place was on a par with some of them.
The cottage was really beautiful but the grounds are something else. Don't hesitate to book this place.
You will not regret it!

Hidden gem for a getaway
Kids friendly cottage with a spectacular view of the English Channel. A cottage with ample outdoor space and well maintained garden. We stayed during a heatwave and drought, but it was actually comfortable with the sea breeze and shades from the trees. The free to use electric charger was a nice surprise, and quite convenient.

Gorgeous cottage in a perfect setting
We had the most wonderful stay at Dolphins Leap, a truly relaxing break. The house is luxuriously furnished, with the comfiest of beds and seating. It has a really well-equipped kitchen and multiple dining areas both inside and out. The grounds are just amazing! Lots of space and plenty of nooks - so whether you want to sit in the sun with a good book, or find a more sheltered or shady spot, there was somewhere for everyone. We enjoyed the outdoor areas very much, and spent most of our stay in the gardens, with evenings in the hot tub.
Be aware that the track leading to the house is quite rough, and wouldn’t be suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance. We also found that there was a bit of a smell coming from the downstairs en-suite, in the shower area. Neither of these would stop us returning, though. Overall, one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at.

Thank you so much Cathleen for taking the time to review Dolphin's Leap. We are delighted that you enjoyed the property and look forward to hosting you again.
Best wishes from all the team at Keepers Cottages.
The property was very pet friendly. The view was amazing. Enjoyed the weekend. Owner was very nice and friendly. Fixed the WiFi issues inside the house quickly. The only thing is there is a mildew odor inside the house that was strong. Maybe some dehumidifiers could help. Overall would book again.

Beautiful cottage in stunning location
We stayed at Dolphins Leap for three nights with friends and had a wonderful time. The house is very pretty, comfortable, spotless and immaculate. The cliff top location is stunning, with extensive gardens (which would be wonderful in summer), and even an old lighthouse. The hot tub and sauna have wonderful views of the entrance to Dover docks and ( on a clear day) France. There are wonderful walks along the white cliffs towards Dover and St Margaret’s bay.
The only downside is access: the last stretch of road is a rough unmade track, and it’s a bit tricky to find the house - definitely aim to arrive in daylight!

The pictures don't do it justice!
We had the most incredible mini break here straight after our wedding, and it was just perfect. We splashed out a bit and were expecting something lovely, but it completly blew our socks off!
Driving up a perfectly manicured driveway, to be greeted by a lighthouse ruin, three gorgeous gardens and the cliff falling away to the sea was heaven, the best place to bunker down and recharge. The gardens were huge, and we really enjoyed our evening loops with the dog without even leaving the property.
When you do venture out, there's miles of walking straight from the door (although it's mainly on lead for the dog this time of year, so bring a long line) and Deal is a short drive away for a nice mooch and lunch. Would absolutely recommend.

Dolphins Leap
Myself & my husband had a lovely stay at Dolphins Leap,
The property is in a beautiful location to have some great coastal walks, watch the ships pass by and a place to relax & enjoy the privacy of the home & gardens,
The property is clean, lovingly decorated and the owners have great taste. The bed we slept in was very comfortable.
We loved our stay , even though the weather was a bit dull it did not spoil our time at Dolphins Leap. We look forward to returning at a later date.

WOW! Unbelievable property with magical views
WOW just Wow!!! This property is absolutely incredible! The listing really buried the lead which is the phenomenal expansive piece of land that this gorgeous home sits on. Right on the edge of the White cliffs, we enjoyed magical moonlit evenings, family bbq on the green egg smoker, campfire marshmallows with from gorgeous welcome amenity basket (which also included a bottle of Kentish wine, gourmet crisps, gourmet chocolate, and other sweet & savory snacks). We loved the cheeky art pieces in the sitting room downstairs ;)
The kitchen is fully kitted out and we had everything we needed to prepare and serve large family dinners and really enjoy the dining spaces both inside and outdoors. They even left oat milk creamer for morning coffee, delicious Grind coffee pods, and laundry & dish detergent. The bedrooms were well ventilated and high-ceilinged with gorgeous Victorian-style decor. The gardens on the property were so amazing as well; a true paradise and such a special place we look forward to returning to.
The property location is very tricky to find as GPS sometimes tries to take you down pathways that are closed off to public access, and the roadways are quite bumpy. But once you get there you won’t want to leave. Truly a wonder. I feel so grateful that the owners have shared this beautiful slice of heaven with travelers coming to see the magic of the Kent coastline and White Cliffs.
Much appreciation also to Keepers Cottages for providing early check-in and late check-out!

Wonderful stay
We were a group of 6 friends staying for 3 nights over New Year.
The house sits on the cliffs in the grounds of the owner’s property but is completely private. The grounds are spacious and very well landscaped, with a decommissioned lighthouse and incredible views. We had very sunny weather when we were there and the sunsets were stunning. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. The house itself is very stylish and there was no expense spared in the detail. Really lovely. 3 double bedrooms with comfortable beds but only one with an en-suite and shower (ground floor). Shared family bathroom upstairs with bath, between the other 2 bedrooms. The welcome biscuits and extra items in the larder were much appreciated. We took walks down to St Margaret’s Bay and the other way towards Dover. We didn’t really have enough time to explore further afield. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. You will not be disappointed if you book a stay here. One little tip - maybe a path over the grass between the cars and the house? Thank you so much for a lovely and memorable stay.
