We had a lovely stay in Montreux heights; it was well equipped and very clean. The only downside is the listing does not make it clear that everything is all in one room - the beds, the sofa bed and the dining table. We are a family of 4 so wasn’t ideal for us for 5 nights. The views softened the blow slightly - they are exceptional! There is a washing machine and drier in the building but it’s very expensive to use (we didn’t realise and had to pay 20 for 3 washes when we left!). The apartment is in a great location, so beautiful! Be warned - There is a very steep hill from the free parking down the road up to the apartment . (Great if you have a dog!!)

Appartement situé sur les hauteurs de Montreux, à Chernex, avec gare à 200 mètres reliant Montreux centre en 10 minutes. Magnifique vue depuis le balcon donnant directement sur le lac. Par contre, pas de parking attitré au pied de la résidence et difficile de trouver une place gratuite. Le parking gratuit à 400 mètres était vite plein !Hôte à l'étranger, restant injoignable et silencieux sur le fait que nous n'avions ni accès à internet, ni à la télé. Aucun conseil non plus coté touristique. Heureusement, nous avons appris par l'Office de tourisme de Montreux que nous pouvions avoir les transports en commun (train bus) gratuits dans la région Montreux - Vevey pendant toute la durée du séjour. Région magnifique. La montée aux rochers de Naye reste honéreuse mais à faire absolument !

Alors que dire que de cet appartement, on commence par le positif. La vue est absolument sublime et est un plaisir à admirer chaque jour. Pour le reste, pas de rencontre avec l’hôte (contacte direct avec la concierge qui est absolument adorable). Appartement un peu ancien, les lits ne sont pas super confortables. Pour la vaisselle et électroménager, il y a ce qu’il faut.Un petit bémol serait le Park qui est embêtant car obligé de se garer dans une rue plus bas et donc obligation de monter 150 mètres de pente à 28%.Et pour terminer le gros bémol, il n’y a pas de Wifi dans l’appartement donc obligatoire de prendre un abonnement e-Sim pour s’en sortir.Disons que pour le prix on pourrait s’attendre à vraiment mieux. Je pense que le prix est seulement là pour la vue, car après avoir sympathisé avec des habitants de l’immeuble on se rend compte que le loyer est bien inférieur au prix de la location. Quand on voit qu’il faut par exemple acheter ses propres sacs taxes car deux uniquement à disposition..Bref je ne recommande pas forcément au vu du prix. Mais si le budget et internet ne sont pas un frein et que vous souhaitez être près de montreux, allez-y.
