Loma Ponderosa - Modern Mountain Cabin

Loma Ponderosa is luxury living in the mountains. With both shopping/dining and majestic Colorado mountains and rivers to play in nearby, this 3.5 acre getaway is a quiet refuge with all the comforts of home, just minutes from Downtown Pagosa.

Built in 2017, the cedar cabin has both a large front porch and a smaller porch at the side entrance. The side porch has chairs for you to sip coffee in the morning, or catch a view of the stars at night.

The front entrance leads to the large open living area, dining area, and kitchen. The open living area has a vaulted ceiling above a deep couch and double chair facing the stonework gas fireplace with smart TV above for relaxing, with spectacular views out of the two over-sized picture windows.

The large dining table seats plenty with bench seating on either side. The kitchen features all new appliances, including large french door fridge, dishwasher, microwave and gas range, complete with a walk-in pantry. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, pots and pans, a large crock pot, toaster, blender and microwave. A coffee bar is a welcome convenience on crisp Colorado mornings.

The master bath and bedroom, guest bath and bedroom, and laundry closet are on the main level. The master bedroom includes an office desk work area. The hand-crafted log desk is ready for any writing or work while you’re away with a strong WiFi connection.

The upper level is a large bunk room with log bunk beds, seating space, TV/DVD player, as well as a lofted reading/play nook. There is a smart TV and the dresser is stocked with DVDs. Please be advised, there is no door to the loft, and is open by staircase to the main area below.

There is a portable crib/play pen stored in the guest room closet if needed. Books and games for guests of all ages located throughout the home.

You can often spot the neighboring herd of horses and local wildlife such as fox, elk and deer when walking the property. With our own sled hill on the property, winter fun is just outside the door! And of course, don’t forget to gaze at the stars at night... there are more than you can count.

Loma Ponderosa is equipped with Wi-Fi, A/C, two smart TVs, a fireplace and a gas BBQ grill for your convenience.
