I am really glad we found this rental! Smithfield is a great area to stay in while visiting Dublin, and this apartment fit our family (two parents, a small child, and a grandparent) perfectly. Charlie is also an excellent host, very happy to give tips on what to do and see around the city and responsive to any issues that come up.

This property is perfect! It has everything you need and within walking distance of almost everything you need to do. We booked at the last minute and the host Charlie went above and beyond helping us all while he was in another country! I would absolutely recommend to stay here. We loved it!

This apartment worked really well for us - family gathering of two adult couples meeting up with a fifth family member.A really well equipped apartment which meant we could settle in straight away.Great location, local amenities are all metres from the apartment with central Dublin only a couple of minutes away. Fantastic communication from the host - thanks for a great stay.

Charles’ property was the perfect home base for a visit to Dublin! The space was quiet and clean and spacious, and had all the needed ammenities!Located within walking distance of a pub, convenience and grocery stores, and multiple great restaraunts, plus easy access to public transport there’s nothing else you could be needing in a spot! A short drive to the airport and a short walk from Connely station, too!Charles was also super communicative with any questions during the stay, and provided great recommendations for nearby places to eat!Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dublin in the future!

A perfect spot to spend a couple of days in Dublin. The apartment is very next to the city centre so that you can reach all famous sights within 30 minutes by foot. It has more than enough space to host up to 4 people and is very good equipped with everything needed even for a longer stay. When arriving we the apartment was very clean, it was prepared perfectly for us and the communication with the host to check in and out was great.In summary the stay at this apartment was one of the main contributor for our lovely stay in Dublin and we can honestly recommend it to anybody else. We from our end looking forward to come back to it to enjoy another beautiful time in Dublin.

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Dublin. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city, visit local attractions, and enjoy nearby restaurants and shops. Had a lovely stay in Stoneybatter. Charles was a very responsive, flexible, and friendly host. The apartment was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood has lots of shops nearby (food, coffee, pubs). The street was not “quiet” as there was construction going on right outside the apartment, which cannot be anticipated or avoided in the city. There is also a bar on the corner which had patrons outside throughout the night, but that is also common in Dublin. We did like that it was away from the crowds of center city. Overall, perfect stay for a family of 4 exploring and experiencing Dublin for a few days.

When I retired I sold my house in Portobello and decided to move to Stoneybatter as it’s right in the middle of the city. The location has everything, coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, pubs. An Independent art house cinema a 4 min walk plus right next to Smithfield Square. A quiet side
Street in the thick of the action. Really central with great public transport on the doorstep. Perfect place to live plus ideal for tourists.

What makes this property unique

It’s very central, surrounded by tourists attractions, Guinness and Jameson are minutes away yet the apartment is on a quiet side street. Plus it was just totally renovated in December 2025 to be my home.
