Closest 2 bedroom to the beach! Just steps to the boardwalk!

Our villa, AR209, is perfect for family vacations as it is located about 50 steps from the beach and includes a great beach view from the balcony, lounge, and dining room. It has a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops, a master bedroom with TV and a queen bed, a guest bedroom with twin beds, and a queen pull-out sofa in the living room. The dining room seats 6 comfortably. Our unit features free wireless internet, smoke detectors, and two HDTV's. We provide beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your use. We provide towels and linens, but bring your own beach towels.

Our building features an elevator, 2 staircases, an access ramp, parking, beach access, central smoke detectors, a non-sprinklered fire alarm system and 24 hour security, 7 days a week.

Our resort includes free tennis, pickleball, and use of the fitness center.
On site there are 3 restaurants - a sports bar (Coconutz), a pizza restaurant (Gator'z Pizza), and a casual beach bar (Jamaica Joe'z) by the pool overlooking the beach.
There is a small pool beside our Admiral's Row building as well as another very large pool on the North side of the complex with a kiddie pool beside it. There you will also find lots of lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, a sun deck, a shaded sitting area, beach volleyball and organized activities in season.

Bikes can be rented on site by the security gate and there are bike racks located on both sides of Admiral's Row. Bike and walking paths covering the whole island start at the entrance to our resort. You can also bike or walk for miles along the beach in either direction.

Charcoal grills and picnic tables are located around the resort with the closest being a few steps away on the north side of the building. There are more beside the children's playground which is a great place for a large gathering. The children can play on the playground equipment and the adults can watch them while visiting with each other and cooking up some hot dogs and hamburgers.

Slice of Heaven

This is our 2nd stay in this condo and we still love it! First of all, the property owner (Ian) is organized, responsive and friendly. The property is EXACTLY as advertised. Perfect location and view. I love sitting on the balcony watching the ocean, pelicans flying overhead in formation, and people traveling to & from the beach. Condo is closest 2 BR to beach, elevator and laundry room. HHI Beach & Tennis Club is also in a perfect location on the island. I strongly recommend booking this condo. You will not be disappointed. We'll be back!

Perfect location!!

Room was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked. We had everything we needed. The best part is how close to the beach we were. This is our 2nd stay in this condo and we hope to come back year after year!

Awesome location!!

This condo was everything we wanted and was accurately described in its listing. Super close to the beach, clean, and has lots of extras like beach chairs, pool toys, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place

We fully enjoyed our stay at this place. It was well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved how close it was to the ocean. The pickleball courts were awesome. We used the gym several times during the stay and it was great.

Great time on Hilton Head Island

This is a great place! The view is as was advertised and the porch was so inviting - we spent a lot of time on the porch. It is nice as the sun does not pour onto the porch - so it is quite comfortable to sit outside and watch the waves and dolphins and birds. The beds were comfortable and the location is great. The beach is very easy to access. A great place - we will be back!

Bliss on the beach!

Once again another lovely stay at this beautiful and comfortable condo on the beach! Our second time to stay and we made another reservation for the Fall because it is so relaxing! Steps to the beach and beach can still be enjoyed at all hours from the balcony. There is no where else we would want to stay! We can't wait for our next visit!

Great location, clean and comfy

The location was great for our stay in HHI for a wedding. We had a nice view of the beach, but unfortunately didn't have much time to enjoy the resort with all of the wedding events. The place was clean, and I was happy that the carpet in the pictures had been replaced by wood floors. It was a bit bare bones in terms of amenities (like shampoo/soap). Overall, great! We would stay there again!

Everything we hoped for!

The rental was everything we hoped for during our family Christmas visit. Terrific water view and easy access to beach. Secluded location at the rear of the property. Convenient to stores and activities. Condo was nicely decorated, comfy beds and furnishings, and kitchen was well appointed with all cooking and dining needs. Host provided helpful guest guide book and info. Highly recommend!

Beautiful view and amazing condo!

My husband and I took my mother to the beach for her 80th birthday! She wanted to be able to have a cup of coffee in the morning and to see the ocean from the condo. This property more than delivered! Such beautiful views made for the perfect relaxing vacation! Our host was wonderful and has paid attention to detail with supplying the condo with everything you need for a great vacation! We will definitely return in the future!

Simply Perfection

My family had the most amazing experience in this condo. It’s beautiful, comfortable and just so obviously loved and taken care of by it’s owners. We truly felt fortunate to stay here. The condo was extremely clean and organized. All the furnishings were updated and tasteful. The ocean view was spectacular. There is not a single bad thing to say about it. The communication with the owner was terrific and all the information provided was so helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a perfect and peaceful getaway.

Not the experience to start off with

I have been coming to HHI and to HHIBTR for 30 years . We got to the condo , there was a cup curdled milk in the drawer which my children found due to all the Nats around their room . There were children’s toys and crumbs on the floor in the guest bedroom as well as underneath the chair cushion . No extra trash bags were provided at the very beginning and about one extra toilet paper for two bathrooms and 4 guest , light bulbs were out. It is not the owners fault which he is remote and not on site that the cleaning service did not do their job he was very proactive about the situation as we also had roaches in the room so he did call for pest control and the maids did come back and clean everything up. There was however blood on one of the comforters on the twin bed in which I informed him that his service need to remove the comforter have it laundered and bring it back , my girls could not cover up as i didn’t know what had been cleaned . My girls felt dirty at the very beginning of our trip . The cleaning service needs to get all Of The dust off of the sprinkler systems and on the ceiling . I would recommend that he change cleaning service if that is how it is handled without complaint . The view was wonderful and easy access but does not make up for feeling dirty or not clean when we arrived . Like I said this is not his fault but his cleaning service that he pays to make his Villa representable of his high expectations to sastisfy his guest.

Nice Time Away

Let me start by saying my family and I had a great time during our weeklong stay. Hilton Head Resort Beach and Tennis Resort is pretty nice and overall, better than other resorts we have stayed at. The Good: Beach access. You are literally a 1 minute walk to the beach. Numerous boardwalks on either side of the building give you great access. No complaints. Spacious: the unit itself is pretty spacious and our family of 3 had plenty of room to spread out. Balcony - the double balcony is excellent! The View: the units sits at an angle to the beach so your view is someone limited, but, you still get a very large swathe of the beach and ocean. We brought binoculars and were able to see Dolphin swimming. Organized: the unit came well equipped with everything you need to cook. Everything is labeled nicely and extremely organized! Ok, so now onto the bad. I'll start by saying there isn't anything that would not make us want to come back. However, these are things I wish I knew beforehand. I'll start by saying that our condo wasn't ready even at 5pm when we arrived. It was supposed to be ready at 4pm and I would have preferred to have a few hours where the cleaning people were out before arrival. I would give the cleanliness a score a 75. There was food in the sink, hair in the bathroom sinks, half used toilet paper rolls still on the dispenser, clogged shower. These are fairly small things but still. They could have done a better job. The cleaning staff were in a frenzy and likely hurried through the clean. Next, there are no stairs on the your side of the building. For those of you not wanting to use the elevator due to COVID this is a nuisance more than anything. You can either park on the other side or walk up 2 flights of stairs and through the breezeway to the other side. Fairly dated - despite the renovation, the condo still seems dated. Carpet seems old and there is still linoleum in the bathrooms. All white appliances just give it an "old" feel. Bathrooms light fixtures and countertops are nice. Lastly, the biggest issue is the distance to the large pool. There is no easy way to get there. Your best bet is to either drive over or walk down to the beach, over, and back up. You can also walk through the grilling area and through the breezeway of another building and finally over to the boardwalk. It's about a 7 minute walk. Far if you forget something!

Amazing Location

Just book your trip! Super easy check in. Extremely friendly staff in the office and security. Beautiful view of the beach right from the living room. Room is conveniently located right next to the laundry room and elevator! Community is very kid freindly and offers movie night at the pool. Beach access is as close as you can be without sleeping on the beach and it has a life guard! Condo was very clean and the kitchen had plenty of pots/pans and plates. Hosts also provide a very detailed list of places to go and see, which made sight seeing much easier!

Great Location close to the Beach!

This property is literally steps from the beach! Great location with an incredible ocean view from the balcony. Easy driving distance to great dining and 3 food options on the property for when you don't want to drive. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. He provided a really detailed summary of dining options, places to visit, and history of the surrounding areas which was extremely helpful. We will stay here again!

My name is Ian and I grew up in England. I reside between the Cincinnati Ohio/Northern Kentucky area and Hilton Head with Debby who is also from England. I have lived in the USA since 1976 owning at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort since the year 2000. I have never grown tired of the fantastic ocean view from the condo. Also, I can't say enough about all the wonderful things to do here at the resort and the incredible people who take care of us. I love to share this with our guests and nothing makes me happier than when I receive a note back from a guest who has just enjoyed their best vacation ever here at our condo.

Why they chose this property

Hilton Head Beach and Tennis is located in the Folly Field neighbourhood of Hilton Head Island. This is a well established older neighbourhood that is away from the hustle and bustle of the Coligny area of the island. You can walk to everything - the beach, on-site restaurants, and some beautiful streets in the old neighbourhood lined with Live Oaks and Spanish moss. You really don't need to leave all week except to go grocery shopping.
However, if you choose to get in your car, or rent a bike, you can be at all manner of scenic areas, attractions, restaurants, breweries, and historical sites in just minutes. If you like the beach and the ocean this is absolutely the place to be. The neighborhood runs along the oceanfront. There are 5 beach restaurant/bars within walking distance of our condo. You can walk to the Folly (a Marshland inlet) in one direction and to what we call the "Rocks" in the other.

What makes this property unique

The Admirals Row A building where we are located is closer to the ocean than any other building on the property - actually closer than most buildings on the island. Our condo is at the end nearest to the beach. Located at the edge of the dunes with the ocean just steps away on the other side, you can hear the sound of the waves crashing on the beach when you sit on our balcony. It's a pretty cool experience to enjoy that proximity when you get up in the morning, take a break in the day, or are relaxing in the evening. Also, I really like that we are not in a concrete jungle. We have space between low rise buildings. We have trees, vegetation, and natural dunes. I've owned in Admirals Row for over 25 years, and I'm still loving it.
