Overall, this was one of the nicest condos we’ve rented. It was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with only minor wear—a few small nicks and scratches, a missing knob here or there, a worn entry keypad, and other small imperfections. The beds were comfortable, the fans worked well, and the air-conditioning easily kept up. The in-unit laundry room was especially useful; we constantly washed clothes and towels, although a few more towels would have been nice. The internet and Roku TV worked well, except for the living-room Roku remote, which should be replaced because it no longer works reliably. We had no trouble using our own Netflix and YouTube accounts. The beach chairs and umbrellas were a thoughtful touch, storage was convenient, and the balcony furniture was nice. The building is attractive, parking is easy, the elevators are quick, and check-in and checkout were among the easiest we’ve experienced. Reaching the building through the gated community does take some time. There are many practical but annoying rules: shirts and footwear are required in the lobby, beach chairs aren’t allowed in the pool area, and guests returning from the beach must use the service elevator, where the garbage odor was noticeable. The pool closes early, around 9:00 p.m., and could use some repairs, but it was still enjoyable.Yes, I’m picky—but considering the price, I think that’s fair. Despite a few small issues, this was an excellent condo and one of our best rental experiences.
